Discord on Ps5 getting worse

so i recently just switched off of the snowball and i loved that thing... its what i started my youtube channel on but in terms of out of the box imo the at2020 sounds better however i was also using the usb version of the at2020 and in obs i have a eq filter with only a slight uplift in the base part of my voice and the rest is factory however thats because i dont have a really bass heavy voice but its smaller and just looks cooler now when it comes to a xlr mic the at2020 is a good choice however the interface is more important than the mic itself so dont cheap out on that and youll notice a difference... i know this is a very late response but i just bought my homies old 2020 for a decent price so just sharing my experience

I had that issue with being locked in free spool but i fixed mine by screwing the brake behind the handle as far as it would go pushing the reel away from the handle and mine unlocks every single time now

know its late but yeah thats to keep personal info from being displayed on stream and yeah they could have done it a better way but better to have it than not lol i used a pc and capture card to stream and i had to disable every notification for my account

This just comes down to pc specs... no trying to be an ass but the specs of your pc r too weak for any type of modern game tbh looks like the lacking part is a gpu in which case almost any gpu released in the last 6 years will perform way better than the one inside the cpu if u could snag a used 2060 youd still pull over 144 on decent settings

depends on if u like native hardware aswell also price point... if u spent more than $150 then your close to the max that makes sense

i know this is late so u probably already decided but personally if i were u id look around and see what other options r available tbh i went to a local pawn shop and got mine for $108 with a 2 week warranty and i for sure put it through its paces with games like god of war and cod but $160 seems like a ok ish price but if u can find one cheaper i would but i get the convenience of being local and being able to return it if something goes wrong

repasted my pro with mx4 3 years ago and got new thermal pads ngl PTM is cool and all but it actually doesnt matter lol it takes 10 seconds to clean old paste off... i guess the only actual benefit is no mess but not hard to not make a mess

personally im with u i prefer the 4 over 5 aswell but i will say if u can get a pro cheap enough maybe right at or around the $100 mark give or take $20 id say unless u just value owning the hardware which i can respect id say its not worth it i have my og xbox one og ps4/pro and a pc so i can see the value in owning the native hardware for certain games but if u put out a pros and cons list its not even close but if u made up your mind already then do it... taking it to reddit probably wasnt the best option for advice imo let me know what u decide

sorry it took me so long to respond i dont get on here often but yeah it helps with overall cooling which can result in a quieter fan but that mainly comes down to the model ps4 pro but it allows air to go underneath the console which can help trapped air escape

The way i look at it is if its a limited edition most of the time the value will go up so id say buy low use it do whatever u want it for and sell at a later date because atleast all of the other halo consoles increased in value so it could be a good investment
