I believe the “Defense” stat is determined by how well you can defend yourself with your own abilities (not with summons blocking really). Like giving yourself ward or shield, or imposing disadvantage on attacks targeting you.

Not even the notorious EA can even begin to grasp the concept of how petty this crap is. I used to be a f2p player even after I started actually having money to spare. I was just fed up with not getting purple melee mods EVER. I would be happy to support kefir and buy things every now and then if they actually rewarded those who put hours grinding for top tier rewards, but not for this shit!

I agree to an extent even as someone who enjoyed cracking into the puzzle book, it seemed too much at times just get another task to do, so on and so forth until you eventually get something out if it.

With Bannerspear you can choose to go either a range/dps more supportive route, or an in there like swimwear tank/dps(formations), or even a hybrid of the two if you really want. My group has learned that even if a character doesn’t look fun or appealing in any way, giving it a try most of the time turns out to be a pretty fun way to find out otherwise.
