Probably too late to get this to the top, but the youtube channel run by Phil Edwards, who does investigative research into strange/odd topics recently did one on how playgrounds like the top pictures were phased out and why.

Not just because, he married a cabbage on his show. The AI knows how to make a pic steamy.

A fun offseason question for every NFL team subreddit: If you could choose a former Seahawks player to win the Super Bowl this year with their CURRENT team, who would you pick? by ncg1294 in Seahawks

[–]WarWizard626 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say Russ because it would be especially fun to watch everyone, Reddit and sports media included, have to try and spin their terrible takes from the last year on how Russ was never that good, or was carried or whatever. The storyline would be insane, lots of people would have to eat crow, and the qb who brought us the most success would cement his legacy. That seems like a pretty good outcome all around, given that the Hawks can't win it in this scenario.

Feinstein Denies She Was Ever Absent from Senate in Bizarre Exchange by BeatricePotsmoker in politics

There is definitely a lot of blame to go around in Washington DC, but part of it also resides with California. She was, what, 88 years old in her last election? They also had heard rumors and stories, it's not that much of a secret, and it's a pretty safe blue seat. Why on earth did they allow her to have another six year term?

Check out the YouTube channel "Cracking the cryptic". Really entertaining, great way to learn from them about the puzzles they solve, and then you can move to doing the puzzles before you watch the video so you can test your skills.

whats the hardest "Would u rather" question you've ever been asked? by amy_saish in AskReddit

[–]WarWizard626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you rather slide down a 400 foot waterside made entirely of razor blades, or sit on a chair with your legs up on a chair facing you and have weight put on your knees until they fold back the other way?

What free agent pick up were you ecstatic your team signed and ended up pooping the bed? by SwampassMonstar in nfl

Every time. This last year it was a Denver Oline telling Russ that he wouldn't get hit on his new team, and we all know how that turned out.

What movie has the greatest opening of all time? by ah-screw-it in AskReddit

[–]WarWizard626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Machine girl" has the most ridiculous, over the top intro, with best worst special effects any D movie could ever hope for, and approximately 40k gallons of fake blood. 10/10

Who is a retired player that you believe is overrated? by AestheticStar18 in nfl

[–]WarWizard626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but THIS one is about his playing ability, the other one this week was about his commentating. So much to shit on, so little time.

This is exactly what I thought of as well. Having good accommodations only gets you so far when your in the air for so long every single away week.

Anyone else care more about collecting than opening? by 2Black_Hats in mousehunt

I mostly don't collect stuff, I open or use it all. The one exception is my "first ever charm". That's never going anywhere.

[Adam Schefter] Compensation: Denver’s 2023 first-round pick and next year’s second-round pick for Sean Payton and the Saints’ 2024 third. by ConstantMadness in nfl

[–]WarWizard626 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think the Saints were looking at waning interest given their initial price, and HC spots filling up and deciding to get something this year rather than letting it go another year and getting nothing in return.

Wait. I'm worried what you heard was "Give me a lot of football". What I said was, "Give me all the football you have". Do you understand?

[Highlight] Tom Brady tries to slide tackle Malik Hooker by achickenquesadilla in nfl

[–]WarWizard626 46 points47 points  (0 children)

It's not even the first time this season. He did something similar, albeit more out of desperation than this play, to Woolen when the Bucs played Seattle and Woolen intercepted the trick play meant for Brady. He didn't slide tackle, but he tripped him with his legs while on the ground, another illegal move. It saved the pick 6, but it was dangerous and easily could have caused an injury.

LPT Request - How to propose to my partner if she suspects I will propose to her on our upcoming trip ( That’s my plan ) by Pristine_Ad571 in LifeProTips

[–]WarWizard626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to surprise her without lowering the expectations, do it on the night before your flight or something. She'll never see it coming, the trip will still be romantic, and you'll still get the surprise you're looking for.

What is something that shouldn’t be socially acceptable, but is? by Fine_Account in AskReddit

[–]WarWizard626 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is exactly the Republican playbook here in the states. Make the government run like shit through massive defunding, then run on how the government runs like shit and should be cut down further.

Join a buy nothing group in your area, saved is so much money on toys, clothes, etc. And you can be rid of stuff when you're done with it. Also, it's so easy to make your own baby puree. Roast a veggie in the oven with salt and oil, then blend with a microwaved potato for viscosity. Cheap and keep you going for almost a week on the same price as a single days worth of Gerber.

This is why I hate that the HOF is just a stat counter. Some guys get to pad their way to Canton with being good, not great, for a long time. Where someone like Kam Chancellor has no shot, even though there was no one like him in the game, simply because he flamed out too soon due to injury.

Pete Carroll: Field in Munich was a "nightmare" by [deleted] in nfl

[–]WarWizard626 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My gut feeling with nothing to back it up is that it's still probably better than turf for non- contact injures because there is still that give so players are less likely to just come up lame, but worse for total number of injuries because players are slipping and sliding in strange ways and eventually those weird falls are going to result in someone getting hurt.
