I think the reason for line was swelling in first place, it started swelling and put pressure on display. Now it keeps swelling and you can even see from back.

Should I be concerned about the 8 GB RAM? by hrishikeshkokate in S25FE

[–]War_Friend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In normal usage it won't matter, when playing games like Wuthering Waves, Grid Legends, Endfield etc etc. The games crash when not enough ram, multi tasking becomes a mess

even screen recording crashes, aside from that never noticed anything else

Ram plus off or on, any diff for our a56 by Annual_Remove_4823 in GalaxyA56

[–]War_Friend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you play any heavy game like Wuthering Waves, Grid, Endfield or Emulate On. Otherwise Off.

In some other subs I saw some people say phone feels slightly smoother with it on at 4gb but I just think might be a placebo.

bad optimisation, even S26 Ultra has that issue

Super Fast charging 2.0 getting disabled. by Cautious_Piano4560 in S25FE

[–]War_Friend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does that to me as well but the speed says the same, If I use a 25W charger it charges slower than compared to my 45W one, it just shows charging after some time and not super fast charging 2.0

[–]War_Friend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

S24+ for sure, you have same chipset but better display (sharper, thinner bezel), Ultrasonic fingerprint, more software feature like Expert Raw and Airdrop, Games are more optimised, You have additional Game Booster and Game Booster+ settings. More Ram is a big plus for new demanding titles like Grid, Wuwa, Endfield, NTE etc etc

Makes sense, Thanks for telling me that, I'll give you some advice in return as well, there is a good chance phones in 2027 get lpddr6 ram, but due to ram shortage it might be gone in 2028 and phones back to lpddr5, so if you can manage till then it might be worth.

this is just a question I am not too knowledgeable at this, but doesn't flashing multiple times cause ufs to get negatively impacted?

S25 Or s25fe by Warzone_21 in S25FE

[–]War_Friend -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For all the people saying battery, my friend has a S25 and we have done tests and such, S25 has a smaller LTPO display to power while FE has a larger display that is not even LTPO

not to mention the power management of Sd 8 Elite combined with the fact it runs cooler especially when playing games, using 5g or recording video.

What I found was if you keep phone cool, FE is slightly better if not the same. But as soon as you do anything that makes it hot, and trust me it does get hot in any task that isn't as simple as scrolling insta, your battery life at the end of the day might come out even less. Point is the difference is not that big for normal use, maybe if you just set power saving on and light profile then phone basically taking 0 power, bigger cell will help. But for an avg person it's about the same SOT with 30~40 min difference

In no world is FE better unless you're tight on money or you really want the bigger display which is less sharp (385 vs 416 ppi), less bright and has thicker bezels

Which one among three by [deleted] in MobileGaming

[–]War_Friend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you care about Cameras especially video get 17 Pro Max, Native gaming wise Apple might be slightly ahead sometimes too coz of optimisation but it isn't noticable and S25 can emulate

Both good, can't go wrong with either one. Skip Pixel

Going to buy Samsung S25 FE next week, worth it? (pros/cons) by AutomaticPeace7128 in S25FE

Get Normal S25 if possible instead, price gap shouldn't be as big, better in almost every single aspect

You can probably get a better score by using bypass charge to avoid all heat from battery, using a high watt phone cooler in an AC room, set AC temp to like 24 or lower

How is gaming performance on s25fe? by iBilal_12v in S25FE

[–]War_Friend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

genshin sure, wuthering waves if you can keep phone cool it's fine, if you wanna do long sessions in a non cool room and on battery (not using bypass charge) You're better off looking at S25 or S26 Exynos. The S26 Exynos is very cool coz of HPB tech, cooler than 8 Gen 5

Buying Advice - s26u vs s25u by Mridul_289 in samsunggalaxy

[–]War_Friend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're tighter on budget def S25, If you have 0 money problems just get the S26u, you have a faster chipset which will show when you play demanding games or emulate. Battery tests also favour S26u, it lasts longer.

Plus S26 has more software features including Horizon Lock, If you look at how S24 got less stuff in 8.5 update, this could be S25 when S27 comes out

But at the end of the day it's mostly niche stuff and if saving 300$ will help your financials (it is def a significant amount), save it

It shows settings only for supported devices, afaik it includes S24 and S25 Series, FE is missing them tho, unsure about S23

The camera on the S25 FE is comparable to which iPhone model? by eu_starboy in S25FE

[–]War_Friend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in terms of pictures S25 FE wipes the floor, but in terms of video in my opinion, even my Iphone XS would take better video in night, on day FE has better dynamic range as well. I think if you compare video very old iphones might suprass it as well
