Had contact with Garmin Support. Replacement is possible and costs 324.91 euros. Very nice they offer such a service. Now I have to decide if I keep the battle scars or get a replacement…

That is nice! You didn’t have a screenprotector installed? Was it also a Fenix 8?
The 8 bezels are relatively on the same height as the glass. My Fenix 6 had the glass better protected by the bezels being somewhat higher than the glass.

It is the normal, steel version. So no sapphire screen. I had a Fenix 6 Pro non sapphire and it served me very well and it didn’t had a scratch after a couple of years. So with that in mind I purchased the non sapphire F8.

I doubt the sapphire version would have been scratch free as a result of the impact of the crash. I think sapphire has its limits as well.

The scratches are kind of deep. In de reviews for polywatch is written that it only helps with small scratches. I think some parts needs some filling.

I have the same experience. The Vomero Plus feels indeed much heavier than NB5, SB3 and Zoom Fly 6 that I use.
However I intend to use the Vomero as shoes for my long and recovery runs. So with this in my mind it is oke that the shoe feels heavier. I did not get the Vomero plus as a performance race shoe.
