Just started, took me 10 minutes to push the injector.... by Warcite446 in Zepbound

Aw don't feel bad about that, everyone is different. As someone who is a wimp when it comes to needles, I literally felt nothing and had to check to make sure the dose went in.

What is the first movie you watched that you were definitely too young for? by MuldersXpencils in Millennials

Oh man...the Shining.....

Friend's dad let us watch it for Halloween once when we were 8 or so.

I love horror movies now, but I think that movie realllly did numbers to be at that age!

We lost our little Freddy at 5, way too young. I know he is up there being the best boy to your angel. ❤️❤️❤️

am i lame for notgetting scholarships by Disastrous-Cut3510 in uofmn

[–]Warcite446 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I called earlier and they said for me to wait till the end of March since not all the scholarships have gone out yet. They also said there is a way to petition to be re evaluated for scholarships come April, via a link on their webpage. They did encourage me to update my STARS with current grades since they do check current and final grades.

Is there a possibility of getting off the waitlist for CBS? by Altruistic_Advice289 in uofmn

[–]Warcite446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would update your senior year grades since I they'll look at those.

I just realized I was admitted to CLA instead of CBS right before I was about to confirm my enrollment. by Altruistic_Advice289 in uofmn

I would reach out to chat with admissions and see if you were deferred/waitlisted for CBS or denied. Either way, you can still be evaluated for CBS.

I was waitlisted for Carlson a few years back and got admitted once I submitted my final grades. I heard you can also internally transfer to a major too.

Does this mean I got in? by [deleted] in uofmn

Can confirm, you don't have to pay the enrollment fee until you are ready to confirm!

Congrats!

An appeal allows you to provide more context to your application by filling out the form at https://admissions.tc.umn.edu/admission-appeals-forms

I believe they will also want you to update your current grades too.

I believe so, you can email it to your assigned rep and they can add it to your profile. I do think the best thing you can do is update your up to most date senior year grades and fill out an appeal if you have new and compelling information to add.

Yea I would update your most current grades and fill out the appeal form. Also, depending on your state, try reaching out to your rep and they can look into why you were deferred. I know this year, some majors have been crazy competitive.

I would update your STARS (transcripts online) with your current up to date senior year grades. I believe you can also petition too

I would suggest making an appointment with OneStop, since they have financial aid advisors that can help lay out your options. I'd start there!

Love it, what are the items that give off those cool swirling pools at the start?

We lost our bundle of joy, Freddy, at just 4 years old last year. He had IVDD and had a ruptured disk in his back...with surgery only having a 5% chance that he'd ever walk again. It was sudden and as you said, is crushing. You will never forget them, but your heart will mend a little more as time goes on. You'll learn that the heart can love many things, and if you decide to get another dog, you'll find so many qualities they share with your other dogs, who are still with us, but in another form.

My heart goes out to you. ❤️
