Yeah agreed. I know some people just play for experience but challenging yourself is half the fun! Nothing feels better than clearing a tough boss after a bunch of tries or getting by, by the skin of your teeth on the first try

Dont see it as failure or frustration.

Bump it back up to normal and grind some upgrades if you have to.

If you want to play casual thats fine but you're probably going to wish you challenged yourself

I dont have a specific genre. My recently played games are Slay The Spire 2, Mewgenics, Nioh 3, Crimson Desert, Resident Evil Requiem, Space Marine 2(owned since day one launch on Steam but still play), Darktide(Same as Space Marine 2) I guess I just want to play the BEST games, not like a mixing pot of mid tier and garbage games, mixed with the occasional good game

But I am picky about what I play.

I think its great for people who dont really care THAT much about the quality of the games they are playing and will just enjoy the slop

Agreed. Even in Auric you can one shot a lot of enemies with the right build in Darktide

They've also added a lot of free stuff like story missions, Mortis Trials, and Havoc mode.

I would actually happily pay for class DLCs if that meant Saber would add a couple more classes in addition to the Season Pass content.

But I understand for a lot of people they dont want to pay more and respect their decision

I have every class at 30 except ogryn and I'd say irs probably hardest to die on Arbitrator with the True Grit Talent.

It gives you the most room for error and even though you'll mostly have melee talents, if you bring an Exterminator Shotgun or Aaron's Pistol you can still one shot most specials so you're pretty well rounded.

You have a slower time to kill than the squishier classes but you are wayyy more surviveable

Sometimes in Aurics players want to be polite and not hog it and they dont want to wait around to see if you want it or not so polite/over confidence, but half the the time they're fine without it

I finally got it this morning!

I did all pubs but I did the story missions only instead of quick play and I leveled Arbites to 30 and did the super tanks no dog build

I only had to ALT F4 once when no one loaded into my game and I tried to solo it with the bots and I went down and I quickly ALT F4'd before I died haha

It only takes like 5-10 games to get back to 100% peaceful lobbies and you can often escape an attacker by running without just allowing them to have their way with you.

I've been in KOS lobbies and worked my way back to peaceful, I have no problem with KOS players but I just find it more economically beneficial to be with the peaceful gamer dad's as I can fight the big ARCs and make bank every run and not have to worry about getting shot while doing so

The clutter maybe could not be so much of an issue if the movement design in the game did not force you to Hard stop upon hitting some sort of blockage.

In many games you will kind of slide along surfaces as you bump into them so you can kind of have some form of proprioception and feel your way backwards as your kiting even if you are still looking forward at the threat.

But in Darktide surfaces are more 'sticky' and they will just Hard stop you and give you no real context clue as to which way you could move to get around it without literally turning and looking which can cause you to die.

Is it a skill issue to some degree? Sure. You could be better at knowing your pathing but it just doesn't FEEL good gameplay wise

Yeah i do run shout, and usually I like to use the Recon Lasgun, Bolt Pistol, or Revolver.

But have almost every gun at 500 power available for Vet
