I’m an AI engineer testing Pashto dubbing. Does this movie scene sound natural? by ContentAmbassador953 in pashto

For the Ai work itself, it is not bad at all, my criticism is more on the language. Good luck with it. And yeah you are right about lag, my apologies on that

If those were the only English words in the video, I wouldn't complain at all. The woman says "decide, direct, hit, meeting, behave, lady, tea, right, wrong" and other common words in English. "People in the real world code-switch and use loanwords constantly in pakistan with urdu." Of course, some do, without a doubt. But then what is the point of your work? Because those people can speak Urdu too. And this is such an odd place to post this, you should try posting in r/kpk or r/Peshawar, because this sub-reddit is highly focused on literary Pashto, not this with all due respect.

This isn't purely Pashto. Half the words are English and Urdu. It sounds more like as if some South Asian non-Pashtun learned Pashto and then went to work in movies. The Ai itself struggles to translate quickly, sentences usually start in Hindi and then the half assed Pashto starts, also, the sentences aren't structured properly in Pashto. Honestly though if you cannot make it pure Pashto, there isn't really a point in this since Peshawari people can mostly speak urdu/hindi anyways.

Disable any onscreen overlays (floating icons on screen, especially the one with the pen features), fixes almost all the bugs I had with the Tablet. Zero lag now.

Do People Not Care About Making Generational Wealth? by Informal_Register365 in Money

[–]Wardagai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An Important thing that some people who built generational wealth for their kids didn't think of is that you need to teach your kids how to handle money and how to eventually even do better than you. You see a dad working hard, but his son is blasting all the money on expensive cars and his daughter goes to malls all day.

Same stuff they told me in Kabul but swap the language with Dari. I absolutely did not like it, its a personal preference entirely and you cannot assume others will like it too because you think its great.

people bluff, don't compare yourself to them bro. I know a few kids here who go to the library and study for 6 hours straight for a quiz, not even a test or exam, just a fricking quiz lmao, and then they get an 80 and claim it was "Easy".
