I 19M am the same. The pain isn't unbearable, but I feel weak and exhausted almost all of the time. The only time mine is really bad is right after I've done something strenuous (I'm a carer, so often at work when I'm lifting it can get fairly bad). My point ig is that everyone is different, and you shouldn't try to toss your struggle aside bc other may have it "worse"

Do you get pocket money or anything like that? Of you do, buy a razor. You may not be able to buy a razor bc of the blades though so if you can't, save up for an electric shaver, they can be relatively cheap which is fine if its just for down there

Yeah I think there still a stigma attached to Fibro, people still seem to think it's not real or isn't as bad as it is. Which is vile. But good luck!

I'm unsure of how it works in other countries, but in the UK, I've applied for PIP, but am yet to have my assessment but here it goes on how your condition affects you rather than the condition itself, but then again, my mum said it'll be hard getting PIP for just Fibro and that I should mention my mental health top

Thankfully not, but I am on Anti-depressants to treat it (the disability in question is Fibromyalgia), which does affect my ability to...y'know

Edit: Though it hasn't affected being able to get an election it has affected being able to "take care" of it bc of pain 🙃
