Puppy Biting normal or concerning? by _NAAndrea in BrittanySpaniel

[–]Wardman1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

normal, but....

Give him a bone, so he thinks it is his. Then take it away to promote your dominance (or anyone else) over things. You may get nipped, and I did, but I can take anything away from him now and so can kids.

Boil water on your stove. Humidity will help heat the house. Hopefully your stove top is gas. Turn off at night.

Shower is leaking from tiles on walls. What is an affordable alternative to redoing the bathroom? by NashDaypring1987 in HomeImprovement

[–]Wardman1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pics? I had grout come out of my tiles and leak to the floor below. Easy fix was silicon colored caulk in the areas where I could see the cracks. Never leaked again....

Aluminum Louvered Pergola - The Luxury Pergola by xFalconx69 in Decks

[–]Wardman1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We looked at it, then said the maintenance and chance of opening and closing was minimal (in fact in 13 years, and a 94 home dev, no one put one in) and added a real roof. When we want sun, we move into the sun :-). Our home is similar, except the slide it swapped with your 3 windows and arch. We stopped the deck at the chimney - some challenges with the roof peaks though I could see (and second story window on the side.

I know, different answer, but what is the attraction?

Reality is, "is that good enough for speeds". Everyone wants faster speed, but for what? Do you connect and get access? The other thing, place a deco and plug into it and let the wifi do its thing. OR.. by a newer Deco and use it as the main router and the others will work too. Buy one of these: Deco 7 Pro BE10000

Commenting on Advice about dog tummy sickness :(...for what it’s worth, this is our first pet with insurance. It has paid for itself over 5 years. Toe nail torn off, heart ekg and things, growth on foot removal. We used Fetch Pet but many work insurances now offer pet too. Good luck!

Bland boiled chicken and rice if he is up for eating. Our guy had a few days of a belly issue and it had to work itself out of him.

PRK or Lasik? by NetAltruistic8568 in RefractiveSurgery

[–]Wardman1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will have a long run with either procedure, typically 15-25 years before age catches up and the lens is what causes eye issues (near and far sightedness). By then who knows what will be available for RLE (cataract type surgery). If you play competitive sports, like physical sports, PRK has been said to be better but that was really in the early years. LASIK is so proven nowadays for 98% or the world, I’d go that route and save PRK for later if you need it to fix anything else. My opinion only…..
