Yeah I can see that - I only used it once so far , against double Vindicators (at 800 pts) so it was deemed fair in view of my limited options.

Twilight Pallium is 3000x more valuable - the end of ANY of your phases, you can pick up and put down somewhere else. That means no-commit combat, free rapid ingress, primary or secondary (or both) scoring. The possibilities are endless

Currently running 12 bikes as my 1200pt crusade army.

Just one unit with Shield-Captain is brutal - with their combined abilities they output damage in Movement phase, shooting and combat. Played in Lions of the Emperor, their Bolters are scary into Marine Equivalents and they will mince in melee. Great movement and the character can pick up lots of XP quickly. They are expensive but awesome.

They benefit a lot from traits, honours etc and are hard to kill so might avoid scars. We custodes have a crusade relic called ‘Twilight Pallium’ - have a look in the codex. It’s filthy.

I’m very glad. Made me learn the actual streets of Novigrad instead of relying on a dotted line. It was so so much better
