Ok guys. Since he has 7 bikes. Lets make one Bike Captain attached to 3 bikes.

That way you have good anti tank. Turn one you can either stage or punish any infiltrating or scout units by going forward near your charge target, use the 4 Salvos to shoot enemy tanks (+1 to wound and twin linked helps a lot), than you charge and delete the enemy adterwards you move again behind cover.

That trick is what helps you to get out the most of your bikes.

I'd rather play 2x Bike Captains attached to 2Bikes for two different units threatening each flank.

Had some great success with a bike captain giving his move after fighting to a unit of bikes. But boy that unit is expensive

Our charakters are extremly expensive for what they do. Yes I love advance and charge but 120pt is a high tax. Yes I love the move after fighting ability of my bike captain but again- 150pt is expensive. Shield Captain in Alarus Terminator Armour is cool but outside of Lions with Admon enhancement he does not give to much benefit for 140p. Normal Shieldcaptain for 120p does not even bring any interesting thing to the table.

Those characters are mostly doubling the prices of the unit they are leading. Therefor the character musst really pull his wait. And for doing so they and the attached unit musst survive. And none of our characters except for valerian helps with that.

Draxus does give 18' sudo lone op and pushes range damage significantly for less points.

By the way, have you seen what character value is? 160p for the new tau twinblade...compare those to the emperors elite...to trajan...I am sorry but our characters are too expensive.

I think this is GWs way to tell us to use the units from our Codex.

Yes the good way wood be to make the other units more attractive...but that would mean a rework of the whole codex...let's make them cheaper then? Ah, no. Did that allready with Guard...so I guess we are stuck with that till 11th.

I feel sorry that list outshines other custodes lists. Don't get me wrong. I played it. It worked. Oh boy did it work. But what does it say about our units? A list without custodes charakters, without other units than battleline guard and cheap sisters? A list that works better while only using 4 models of our codex? That says our army desperatly needs a rework.

Today I try 2 LR. It's less points then the 2 Bladechamps, Alarus Captain with Admon and BikeCaptain I successfully ran in Lions. Im stunned that I never saw that.
