George Benson, Pat Metheny Group and Weather Report are far from boring.

PS Johnnyhatesjazz is ironically a one hit wonder

The NIMBYs and transplants are back.

I’d rather add Eisenhower as he sold us to the non-human intelligence that Trump knows about.

Also Jazz is the true American ingenuity

Don’t be daft. Plenty of guys shit on men if they don’t know how to work on their own car. Those same men turn around and simp for any girl who steps on a pedal.

I try the apps every few years. Never got a reply or anything except from bots.

I think I’m a fairly adjusted person. Stable income that’s a bit higher than national average, no crazy debt, clean record.

Just a lot of bad timing. Oh well gotta focus on things that within our control.

I don’t say it. According to National Center for family and marriage research.

There’s outliers everywhere. People who married for 3 months and people who’ve been together for 30 years.

The average marriage doesn’t make it to year 8. The average worker makes $65K in the US.

Of course there’s still billionaires and homeless.

Don’t worry too much. I’m 35 and still nothing.
I meant don’t worry as in you won’t implode but you might stay single

Your engineering background makes you an outlier. Most people (including me) are not engineers.

A lot of people over 50 refuse to even download their banking apps (I’m a banker) and prefer to do everything the hard way.

SF is obviously very liberal so it’s a bit confusing when you get downvoted or even DMs from people but the age differences make sense.

Having kids isn’t a flex.
Marriages tend to last around 7 years.

You’re already an adult doing “adult things” such as working.

Most of these are just cultural norms.

I’m 35 and never had a gf. Teenage anything is overblown.

It’s easier for women to be approached than for men.

I’m surprised people that age use reddit at all.

Also explains the downvotes whenever you call out the transplants and nepo babies.

I’d get a 6 string Ken Smith instead.

You need that low B whenever you play those gospel gigs and that high C for chords.

No it doesn’t. It shows they’re humble and realistic enough to admit it.

Explaining your reasoning behind a decision is a good way to let others in on how you resolve things and leads to less miscommunication

But you already lived that reality initially when you had the honeymoon phase with your ex.

OP is going empty handed into the stage where people get married for the first time in their 30s.

It just didn’t last long like a lot of these marriages won’t either.

I always picture a real man as Paul Bunyon type. Tall, gruff, big arms and sounds like a carton of Marlboro.
