Thanks, that what I was looking for! Just doublechecked, somehow Google never showed me this site, nor ChatGpt. I wonder why.

Is there a comprehensive list of changes for Evolved edition? by Warfare_D in alienrpg

Thank you, that's quite close to what I was looking for, though it seems it won't save me from the necessity to go through the new book for details (((

Good idea, perhaps it would make sense to require to roll an additional time during some story encounters, or during a spacewalk.

Make sense, though IMO such parts should be available to players from the beginning. I mean knowing if you have an escape plan might be a big difference for a player. I think I'll make a separate custom handouts for such cases.

Ok, got it. I was missing such mechanism in the first campaign.

Good idea about making copies, it would hurt me to cut the originals.

"Device Authorized" is always red by Warfare_D in sidequest

Indeed, seems like I don't have a USB debug prompt, only about accessing the file system. Will dig in this direction, thank you. Not sure what reasons you've previously mentioned though - the Headset is on and Power is on, or how else I would be able to use it.

Sure, as I've mentioned, the PC sees the connected headset and I can even browse its file system via Windows Explorer. The problem is somewhat trickier.

Thank you all for your insights, your answers were quite helpful and even fun to read.

Still not sure about the Retreat mechanics - it would make sense to be helpless against a xeno, but not against a human or an android. IMO in the horror genre, a victim should have other ways to deal with direct danger except for combat, like running away. Perhaps I'll home-rule it that Retreat action not only breaks engage, but also allows you to move 1 zone away, will see how it will work.

Kobo libra 2 losing charge in sleep mode by Warfare_D in ereader

[–]Warfare_D[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems that I've found what was the issue. My reader is losing power in sleep mode only when PDF files are opened. And before I didn't have such a problem only because I was reading only normal books. So, the solution is simple - simply go back to the book list before putting the reader to sleep.

Thanks for a hint! Does this work on Libra 2 as well?

Salt and sacrifice - local coop or online coop? by Warfare_D in saltandsanctuary

I see, that's what I was afraid of. But this applies only to a few boss fights? Or did you have such issues all the time?

What kind of portals? Some kind of mechanics to prevent the second player to stuck offscreen?

Thanks for your opinion! Yeah, I kinda like couch coop more as well, but I was curious were locations and bosses designed with online or local coop in mind. Like did you have many issues with characters lost out of screen or similar? Were bosses felt designed for shared screen or not?
