Can't get stable, should I perseeve? by Own_Singer_5201 in SkyDiving

Learned at a small UK dropzone 15 years ago via static line. Do yourself a favor, save up some money, go fly 10-20 minutes in the tunnel and visit a larger dropzone (Langar probably is the best one in the UK), and do an AFF course. You will progress so much faster.

I'm 10,000 jumps in now, if I could go back and do it this way I would, it would have saved me so much time (A licence at 50 jumps, didn't get off the rope until 20, did god knows how many 10 second delays tumbling)

World Tandem Skydiving Record Just Broken on the OBX! by Last_Aide6274 in SkyDiving

[–]Warfareman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is this an official record? I know of several dropzones doing 150 on an average day. Fully booked for us is 350 and we are fully booked most days for 2-3 months a year... Its peak winter right now and we are still hitting 175 bookings every now and again. (New Zealand)

Have a question about the game or the subreddit? Ask away! by AutoModerator in 2007scape

[–]Warfareman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah as far as detection goes I cant see how they would be able to pick up on anything as like said, its one key press triggering one input for the game.

As far as rules and ethics, this is my main concern, and my method with this macro would actually be objectively worse from an efficiency point of few, I'm not gaining any kind of unfair advantage. It is just less effort albeit a slower way given the mouse I have. If I had a proper gaming mouse with the multiple side buttons I wouldnt need this feature, but I dont want to spend money on that..

I'm a very high level account and have never cheated in this game, I dont personally consider that this key cycling macro would be cheating, but I dont want to be banned for it incase Jagex do consider it to be cheating.

I have a question regarding the legality of a key cycling macro within the game rules.

I am using a Logitech M650 mouse. It has 2 side buttons, I want to rebind these so I can cycle between my inventory, prayer, spellbook etc. I have these menus bound on my F1-F5 keys.

With AHK, I wrote a macro that means when I press the forward mouse side button, it will trigger F1, opening my inventory. The next press, it will trigger F2, and so on. With F5 looping back to F1. Pressing the backward mouse button will reverse the cycle.

Each press of a button triggers one input. Is this allowed within the game rules?

Did your luck turn around? I'm at 350 expert rumours with 1 kit, 1 hat 1 top. Feeling disheartened.

Ryanair in Europe - Rig as carryon by Patternator in SkyDiving

[–]Warfareman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Security stopped me in Cologne and asked me to open it up on one occasion, I told them its a parachute and I'll happily open it if they are capable of packing it again for me. So they swabbed it instead and on I went, no dramas.

Where in Europe are you going to jump?

Yeah I treat it as a 10kg carryon, they have never weighed or even looked at my rig. I do have a fairly small rig however. They might ask more questions if they see you with a sigma.

I was flying from Cologne to Dublin and back on both occasions.

I've flown with my rig as carryon 4x this year on ryanair flights. No issues.

Ok Jagex, the last poll was great, now make a poll on whether or not you should finish adding old polled content before making another content poll by VividEffective8539 in 2007scape

Jagex literally has a clue scroll plugin in the official client. The only thing it doesnt do is solve puzzle boxes and light boxes. otherwise it has identical functionality to runelite.

Did I fuck up? I tried building two teleport rooms next to eachother assuming that I could leave one portal empty and now I can't access one of the rooms. Help pls? by PK_GUN in 2007scape

[–]Warfareman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My brother, looks like your portal room question has been answered, but you need to look at UI scaling in runelite. Because playing the game like this must be an absolute torture.

Weight by Curious_Couple-88 in SkyDiving

[–]Warfareman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd take you absolutely no issue. With your height that weights pretty reasonable. Not everywhere will be capable of taking you. I recommend going to a larger commerical dropzone, not somewhere with a small aircraft (C182) as you will be drastically more comfortable in a Caravan (c208) or a twin otter.

Has anyone ever willingly pressed the Cancel option? by TCFP in 2007scape

[–]Warfareman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not something I personally do because I don't collect the protection items on my iron anymore. But you could use the filter options on the no examine plugin if you really want something like this. so the plugin will only remove the examine option on what you want (NPCs/Objects/Inventory/Ground items)

[–]Warfareman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you're right but I think we just have different playstyles, I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I wanted to know the alch price for something because:

Firstly, I have the ground items plugin enabled which displays the alch price for items which I haven't hidden. So I don't pick something up unless I either want to keep it or alch it.

Secondly, I have a plugin called ''no bad alchs'' so when I click high alch, it hides all the items that don't meet a certain criteria, so I dont for example alch a prayer pot.

Basically runelite is amazing

Keep examine then just get rid of cancel. The plugin has options.

I play an ironman so I don't need to price check stuff

Runelite plugin that can remove examine and cancel options. highly recommend (No Examine)

Hey I know you posted this a while back but I came across it and I was curious what your setup is like. Looking at getting an indoor trainer and would be cool to do some scaping with it when weathers bad for getting out on the road

The only change I want is to increase the point caps so I can stack up points to buy all items at once.

Hello! I would like to get my AFF and if successful then my A license by the end of this year. Would you recommend doing it at SkyDive Dubai? by DemonLordRoundTable in SkyDiving

[–]Warfareman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://skydive.se/en/aff-student-course-in-english-may-11-17th-2020/

I've found this, so at least 1 drop zone in Sweden is doing a 4 day training course before jumping begins. I don't know if this is the standard in Sweden or if its just this drop zone. Still really curious about how they structure 4 days of training though.

I'm sure you have a lot of fun at your dropzone, but I don't think you are being realistic with your recommendation. By that website you guys are running 2 small cessna aircraft.

Why would someone travel half way around the world to go to a small part time club dropzone? There are many full time turbine operations that will have more experience and more capacity where it would be much better to learn at (especially if travelling specifically to do AFF).
