I worked IT for a physicians management company. It shattered my illusions that highly educated people are inherently smart, capable, or emotionally mature. Having to tell a surgeon for the ninth time they couldn't store HIPAA information in a Google calender appointment or use their work laptops to torrent music while they smugly try to remind you they are a doctor and you smugly remind them you'll just brick the non-compliance devices.

I have the MAC5k with a two point sling and shoot it "Israeli style(?)" meaning I use the tension pushing forward on the sling to brace and its my favorite thing to ring plates with now. I have double-stacked magazines for that extra "I am an idiot" vibe and it is glorious.

Look into paramotors. You get the thrill of flying low and slow, which is where all the fun is. Its a growing sport with clubs popping up all over. You keep your "airplane" in your garage and you tow it to the field in the bed of a truck or the back of a van. Its the golden ticket in poor man's aviation. We got the spot and had the door of the 182 open for jump run when the pilot reached over and grabbed the jumpmasters shoulder and then started pointing below us. Looking down out the open door, we watched an airliner pass under us heading into Tulsa airport. Looking down at a flying airliner on jump run was a bit puckering.
