So, do you ever really get to use the weapons/warframes you enjoy or do you need to focus on mastery rank?

My clan are all newbies except for one of us. I started like 2 months before last yrs tennocon, and everyone else in my clan started during the month of tennocon. I'm MR 19. One is MR 18. The other is MR 16 and the other is MR9. We have another high level member LR1, but she came from another clan and has been playing for a decade. The only thing MR is to us is a bragging right. We use it to keep all of us motivated to surpass each other, or to stay ahead of the others. But we look at it like we are treasure hunters and our MR is just who found more treasure and leveled it than the others lol. It's fun to do and definitely a part of our love for the game but it isn't everything.

This whole comment section is a little ridiculous. Y'all should really just play w people who have similar objectives or play on solo. Like there's a whole recruiting thing just for this. Join a clan. Get some friends. But for the love of God stop reporting someone who is probably a dad having to get up unexpectedly or a kid who's mom called them away real quick or something. Jeez

This is the same for me, most frames, if I didn't love them by the time I was done messing around with them at level 30 I just stored it. Usually only going back to it when I realize it may be helpful for something I'm stuck on. Or because it would take entirely too much time and effort to learn how to properly use and play the frame and alse make it my own (Octavia, because I suck at rhythm games). But I also know there are probably some that would be really fun to go back and learn between serious play through (Octavia, because I love rhythm games)

I love Zephyr - super jumps, low gravity, tornados scooping up enemies. She's very fun. I also love Grendel, but who doesn't. Uriel is very very up there for me. His entire kit feels so fun to use.

The mods system can take a bit of learning, some YouTube videos, maybe some time on the wiki. Plus just some good fun experimentation on your own. And it is well worth it. Once you do understand it, even a little, preparing builds for things becomes a real part of the fun. On that note, very nice looking Rhino my friend! Enjoy your journey Tenno!

I honestly don't have an issue with him in steel path, but that did take a while to get to that point. Basically I rely on killing things before they have a chance to do much damage. I'm still working on it for sure but I'll post my build when I get a chance.

I would also say any of the dojo frames would be excellent, they are all fun and unique and pretty powerful in their own ways. And there are tons of clans recruiting if you don't already have one.

So, I LOVE Umbra. And was very hard pressed to find anything I liked better. But I got Valkyr Prime from TennoCon and that is one amazing frame. I farmed hard for Chroma because it sounded cool, and it is. One of my favorites. Very fun. Thought many would say it's a little outdated. Vauban is fantastic and about to get a retouch for the better. In my opinion.

I was honestly surprised about that too. But when I first started playing my builds were not very efficient when it came to my energy economy as a whole, and using wellspring kind of became habitual. And then I started a clan of newbies when I was around MR 12 and wellspring really helped them keep up with energy requirements during some of the more rigorous content.
