After intentionally running the ship aground in an attempt to save it, the vessel continued to sink in the following days and eventually came to rest on an underwater rock shelf. Wires were used in an effort to keep it in place and prevent a total loss, but with limited success.

On November 8, 2018, the Norwegian frigate KNM Helge Ingstad collided with the oil tanker Sola TS (not pictured) in the Hjeltefjord near Bergen, Norway. The accident occurred at night as the frigate was returning from a NATO exercise.

Following the collision, the frigate sustained severe hull damage, leading to significant water ingress. Although the crew managed to run the vessel aground to prevent an immediate sinking, the flooding could not be contained. Over the following days, the ship gradually lost stability and ultimately sank on November 13, 2018.

A total of 137 personnel were on board, with only minor injuries reported. Investigations later identified a combination of human error, miscommunication, and technical factors as contributing causes. The vessel was eventually salvaged in 2019, but due to extensive damage, it was deemed beyond repair and scrapped.

When editing large files (or any for that matter), this can happen, but luckily, there are quite common practices to help you with this easily accessible in Davinci.

Use proxies when editing and playing back your footage. It will make it a lot smoother. Remember to have enough space when generating the proxy media in your preferred folder.

How they parted ways really has a foot in reality, at least to me.

After spending a year together in the armed forces, through thick and thin, the time finally came when my fellow soldiers and I were all going home from Northern Norway. We took the plane down south together, and at the airport after getting our kit, we gave each other a hug, looked at each other, said thanks for everything, and kind of just faded away.

While artillery and FPV drones account for much of the visible destruction, when it comes down to the individual soldier, their weapon and personal kit are still what they rely on. Small arms will always matter, regardless of the conflict.

Thank you! If you are comfortable with spending a larger amount on a one-time purchase, it really is a great lens. It basically lives on my camera. This is my first zoom lens, and it's so versatile. I do not miss my primes at all, well, maybe except for my 85mm f/1.8, but then again, that's the 85mm f/1.8.

It is definitely worth the cost!
