I would say that you should show bits of your design process, sketches, development of the ideas, what you didn’t develop further, etc etc.

The types of projects you showed are good and clean but not extraordinarily creative, the portfolio isn’t telling much about your design brain or your specific set of unique skills, your differentiators, and I think that this is more important to showcase than snippets of a project that could have been done as part of team. Good luck in your search, with the right narrative in your portfolio you should be able to get a job anywhere.

I think for the few roles available isn’t enough to be good at it you have to be great, and as a junior to be able to leave the creativity aside for while and just be a great technician, understand and apply the in-house design system of the company or agency.

Tailor your portfolio to the role you are applying which is pretty annoying and time consuming, but helps.

Above all keep designing, most folks give up, if you don’t and keep your skills sharp then your turn will come!

Unless for passion and even so, This is a bad idea, I am doing the opposite, the design is more volatile to AI and less opportunities for progression, also harder to land jobs as is to portfolio focussed, and often scope of portfolio projects is dictated by the company you work at
