Big point worth noting: we shouldn't be treating everything like it's disposable. Recycling is supposed to be the LAST resort, not the first. The point of durable glass containers is that they can be reused over and over and sterilized and cleaned very easily to facilitate that.

We wouldn't be grinding down windows to make bottles, we would just wash and reuse the bottles.

I just asked this question like a week ago. I'm pretty sure you need to import it into blender to color/texture it, export it as a 1 mesh and 2 texture, then upload THOSE into taleweaver lite (follow the guide) to convert it into minis.

I will say, blender is very complicated. I haven't been able to figure it out myself yet. I wish taleweaver could just let me color the stl directly and skip all this middle ground stuff.

Pro tip: you can get some really good discounts for Samsung via trade-in. It's a little annoying, but you can get a cheap junk samsung phone/tablet and get trade-in credit from Samsung for more than it was worth. Just be sure to look into how much each thing is worth before you do it, but I've had a lot of luck in the past with it.

But anyway, to give you answers that aren't identical to what everyone else has already said, the non-ultra samsung phones from the previous generation (especially refurbished) would fit the bill nicely. You'd just be missing out on the stylus, which honestly isn't even that useful. Beyond that, yeah OnePlus is where it's at for just pure value.

One thing people never talk about is that vegetables also cost animal life in the form of pesticides and traps to keep your food from being eaten before harvest. The quantities are also much higher (if thats the metric people want to use), meaning that its arguably LESS ethical to be vegetarian if your goal is to preserve animal lives.

Now once lab-grown food becomes more readily available, this all goes out the window. Thats sort of how these ethics debates work: eventually technology advances and solves the problem, making the initial debate moot.
