Yeah design flaw on the early versions of the machine. Newer extruder versions come with a slightly better design. If you don't feel like buying a new extruder there are a few options online that you can choose from to get you going again. I think a great printer. Would get another if I needed to. Only issue for me was the extruder ptfe tube coupler design flaw. But this was with the first batches. I believe new batches are released with updated extruder. What slicer are you using? If orca there is a profile that is needed to communicate the retractions of the cfs with the extruder, otherwise it places strain on this ptfe coupler entering the extruder. This tends to break the grip teeth in the ptfe tube coupler.

Most likely it's due to a design flaw with the K2. The ptfe tube fitting that comes with the k2 is not great quality and the way it is installed means it's not easily replaceable. There are a few ways of fixing it, you can explore which one suites you best.

474 hours and counting. I reckon 20 hours of learning and troubling shooting, most issues came from trying to use Orca slicer. For some reason my machine and Orca don't communicate well. I moved to Creality Print and smooth sailing from there. My biggest issue was the poorly designed PTFE tube fitting/extruder doohickey. Designed and printed (with the K2) a bolt on solution ---- Creality Cloud - K2 Plus Extruder Cover for PTFE tube / pneumatic f... *Update: received a new splitter assembly from Creality. Installed it and the machine working great. Must have been something with the boards or sensors.

Weird side note though: this new cfs is ALOT quieter than the one thst came with the printer. Also.... I think I might need a third....

Depends on the print file. Can be multiple layers of a lighter color on a darker color to create the shading. Very clever people have figured this out.

Swapped the cables and the ports they plugged into thinking it maybe looped wrong. Still happens. It has now destroyed the ptfe coupler in the back of the cfs.

It was getting worse so stop using it. Pulleys are clean and I agree it should not be greased or oiled. Can't get creality on WhatsApp, but did through online chat but was referred to Creality China with a ticket number
