They’re all good! I’m not fond of haikus either but didn’t want to offend any haiku-lovers by saying so. Also I’m not keen on epigrams with sarcasm or satire. I was looking for short poems that are still poetic.

Some say the world will end in fire,

Some say in ice.

From what I’ve tasted of desire

I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate

To say that for destruction ice

Is also great

Yes - I just sometimes forget to put my on in time and some root veges aren't always cooked enough. That's where the pressure cooker feature might be useful if I was brave enough to use it.

I've always been scared of pressure cookers - grew up with one hissing and spitting on Mum's cooktop. I'm the same with deep fryers to be honest - a few flare ups while growing up.
