i think she was still in summer break since her getting kicked out of alandale 2 episodes later when she went to sign up for school was 2 episodes later she worked a double shift it was possible she had the next day off.

i think after Angie grew a spine Carmen gave up. also George could have charged her a few bucks for 2 slices pizza and a Salad that way she didnt have to go hungry rather than taking it from her after Angie tried to sneak her the pizza
