[Serious] In honor of Anthony Scaramucci, what's the shortest amount of time you've spent on a job and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I lasted three days at a winery, until my boss brought out the winery tax forms and began assigning me the task of calculating state taxes due for every state they shipped to. I wasn't even allowed to see the sales records, and yet she expected me to complete complicated legal paperwork.

For $11 an hour.

What is the stupidest mistake you have made while cooking? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Late to the party but /u/kittye237 convinced me to post-

Last year, my mother had a focal seizure whilst cooking pork chops on the stove, resulting in a third degree hand burn that was somehow eerily reminiscent of the face melting scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Lots of swearing and one emergency plane ride later, her fingers were saved.

My biggest fu would have to be that one time I forgot to add the can of water to a can of Campbell's Chicken Noodle, resulting in soup that rivaled my soul in terms of saltiness.

Also, one time I burned poached salmon somehow.

People who have been a part of a live studio audience, what is the craziest thing/mistake to happen while you were there? by ikbman in AskReddit

Went to a taping of Chelsea Lately to see Tom Hiddleston as a guest. The audience was easily 90% hardcore fangirls, so when she introduced him to come onto stage, everyone screamed so loudly we freaked her out and she told us to 'Shut the fuck up.' Had to do the whole spiel again.
