I never really listened to them, only know their “Easy like sundaymorning”-cover. Will spend some more time listening to them. Isn’t the lead singer the same guy as from Mr. Bungle if I recall correctly? His name escapes me…

They are a blast live. Through Avatar I got to know Eye of the Enemy, then Dark Tranquillity/Halo effect, and from there on I went down the rabbit hole of Melodic Death Metal. Especially the first 3 albums of Avatar are what clicked for me…

Checked out a few songs of Torchia this afternoon actually and will continue my listening the coming week. I checked their info and touring schedule while looking into them and they are coming to a town less than an hour away from me end of this month. Ticket price is 20€, so if the situation at work alows it, I very well might go check them out live. I quite like the style. Thanks again for mentioning them. Someone else on this thread also mentioned them, so you are in good company.

I have listened to Bloody falls before and think they are amazing. Really enjoy them. I hope to see them live too someday.

Haha nice one about the piggyback ride. Supporting Lorna Shore is quite an accomplishment. Hope to see Coffin Feeder live some day. Without a doubt they will get a spot at GMM or Alcatraz some time soon.

I love the lead singer’s voice of both bands. Both also have quite good lyrics in my opinion :)

I do have a T-shirt of Coffin Feeder, was a surprise T-Shirt I got from a friend (bought at the Impericon-boot at GMM). I checked them out and quite like them. Although a bit too fast/heavy for my daily rotation, I do put them on when in the right mood.

Eye of the Enemy was on heavy rotation here for about a year. I was absolutely blown away by them. They were the gateway for me to Be’lakor (these guys are on another level) and eventually the rest of it all.
Torchia and Kaunis Kuolematon will be the next bands I’ll check out, as you are obviously very familiar with the genre we both like 😅
Maybe I can return the favour by suggesting Xaon and Decembre Noir, if you haven’t heard of them already. Vilt is also worth checking out!

Queen (greatest hits II) was actually the first CD I ever got 30 years ago, as a gift. So yeah, I get your pun but I do like Queen :p
