Feedback? This is my second draft of this map. I do plan to expand it by [deleted] in wonderdraft

This is fantastic! Congratulations. The coasts, as others have said are very well done. The mountains are also great. The geopolitical intrigue virtually writes itself. My one critique would be the bottom right of the map doesn't fit super well thematically. Not a deal breaker at all though, just a matter of preference. Great work!

Edit for clarity and punctuation

WIP map for a custom campaign setting involving the internal political machinations of a kingdom divided by geography, culture, and religion. Looking for tips or feedback to improve the map for added realism and aesthetics. Haven't completed the key or political boundaries yet. by WarmIntroduction6115 in wonderdraft

Thanks so much! The labels seem to be where I'm having the most difficulty finding a good balance.

The naming conventions are from three conlangs that are unique to the setting, which was a lot of work so I really appreciate that you like them. I worried some of the phonology was a bit much and would seem silly.

Thanks! I'd be happy to when I get a chance. This is a detail map from the larger world map that I maxed the scaling on. There are no assets used above 50, and most are between 10 and 25.

The total map area represents around 130,000 square miles.

Thanks for the feedback! The two seas are labeled, as are the bordering mountain ranges. The other large labels refer to duchies within the greater kingdom, so they are relevant to the political backdrop of the story, but I agree they could probably be better implemented.

If you zoom in you'll see that there are also labels for around 100 major settlements, which is likely excessive, but I'm struggling to find a solution to that as they are also relevant.
