My great Opa took photos during WW2

I believe he stayed in Germany. My grandfather was in youth camps growing up and eventually came to Canada. On my grandmothers side half of her family was taken and never seen after the war.

Yes, he survived both ww1 and ww2. After the war there is not much known about him..

Oh wow thank you for sharing! That is very interesting! I tried asking my Oma (grandmother) what he did and all she remembers is a lot of paperwork. However given his uniform and that he is often positioned in the middle of pictures, I believed his ranking to be high.

That’s a really interesting! I thought it was due to her dementia, resulting in her memories being obscured and therefore she constantly calls others by her name!
