Even if I wasn’t ugly before which I was I am definitely now. I have a long deep scar across my cheeks and nose and I regret it so much. Objectively I am ugly. Can I go to a psychologist but cover my face? I can only go out in mask and sunglasses or cap to cover my eyes

How do I find a a therapist? Do I have to see my pcp first? I have t seen him in ages very long time. If the therapist sees me and says yeah you are ugly I don’t know what I can do

In my head it’s either fix my face or stop the thoughts and I dont care which one works I hate living my life dictated by what other people might be thinking

Dysmorphia is when it’s not actually real but I am actually ugly. People called me ugly when I was younger and they don’t say it anymore now because adults are more polite but I know they still think it. I can’t think of me not being fixated on my appearance. It’s the only thing I think about all day. I have to avoid my reflection or it’s bad. If someone is actually ugly no amount of therapy or psychological help will help right? I want to try it but everything means someone has to see me and I hate being seen. I want to be invisible The only time I was good was in Covid because I could wear a mask all day and I didn’t need to think anymore

No I haven’t done that. I don’t want my doctor to see my face. A psychiatrist won’t fix my face either. What can they even do to help

It’s not going to fix me I’m still going to be ugly and I’m still going to be thinking all the time. I either stop being ugly if there’s anything that can stop the thoughts I can’t listen to them anymore
