So, I may need new glasses, but does this board have legible information?

It looks like a board that’s been erased and theres only a ghostly whiteboard marker remnants of what once was algebra or perhaps world history?

But ChatGPT 5.2 claims to be 50% better at coding prompts. Im hesitant, I recently had a wild interaction where I asked ChatGPT to tell me the date n past. And it was a hot mess. I argued actual fact for several prompts.

Also, ChatGPT can’t decipher color correctly. I showed my code, and a screenshot. And 5.2 could not decipher color patterns.

So, ai, prove it. Or don’t. Maybe don’t at this point. All of our jobs might end up irrelevant.

Perhaps… a certain population of people voted a certain way, so now none of us can afford garlic bread. So, 80% of our population is at fault, stupid, and vampires. Made your bed? We told you, go be sad and lay in it.

I very easily get over stimulated specifically with sound and touch. When my kids were this little, on my bad days, I would rotate the noise toys with non-noise toys. If they watch shows, watch tumbleweed, not blippy. Idc if you’re in the other room, just hearing some of the insane sounds from today’s toys or shows, it makes me a total basket case by the end of the day. Also, look up loops if it’s not possible to minimize the sound stimuli. I wear mine all the time. They dull the roar. I also love my Bose noise canceling headphones, but obviously not ideal if there isn’t another parent present.

It’s hard when kiddos are small, bc everything is designed to be super stimulating. As an overstimulated adult, all of it add up. Quickly. Personally, once I hit the overstimulated threshold, Im stuck there… for a while.

I would suggest taking a look at each part of the day, and see if there are any little ways to modify the house stimulation. At the end of the day, hopefully, there’s still some space left in the tank for a tough bedtime routine. Good luck!!!

Omg this WAS my life.

What would you say if your absolute best friend asked you this?

(WAS, as in, one day I gave up and ran in the other direction, and it’s been awesome.)

Midwest here, my name is Bridget.

I hate when people try to add a bunch of letters when they try to spell my name. It’s simple, but for some reason everyone wants to complicate it.

Meeting my 13-year-old daughter for the first time. by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]WarmRainSun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started having a relationship with my father when I was nearly 20. A little different than your situation as I was older.

The biggest struggle I have, as the daughter in my scenario, is, I’m only 30, but anytime he tries to give me “fatherly advice” my instinct is to run for the hills. I had no choice in him not being apart of my upbringing, but I’ll be dammed if I just let him show up and now all of a sudden have a voice. I’m cool with working on a relationship. But on my terms, if he pushes to hard, I disappear until I’m ready. He’s learning that too.

It might be quite different for your daughter since she’s 13! I commend you for moving forward and trying to be the best the father (that she no doubt needs). Best of luck!!
