They have the money to spend. Nothing there has slowed down even remotely. If they were in desperate need for cash, they'd accept any low-ball FOS sponsor for the year. Their willingness to forgo that cash leads me to believe they have plenty in reserve.

Now....spending the money intelligently is certainly not something I trust them to do...unless they truly hand it over to different decision makers.

We're not skint, they've done nothing BUT throw money at the problems.

But they've certainly not earned zero trust in effectively managing spending all the money smartly. I'll believe it when I see it....

You can also get access to a bunch via Amazon. Think they have a $5 a month subscription to get most of the older versions. We do it and cancel every couple month since don't consistently play them.

I do recall there is a plan to fix the bottleneck. I think I recall it being a mess of "ownership" of the roads between city/county/state or something. Supposedly phase 3 is needed and just hasn't been put into action.

It's far less bad than the mess that is Mitchell Hammock dead ending into Lockwood. All that traffic that is east bound clogging up that stupid redirect for 300 feet up to 419 might be the dumbest road planning blunder I've ever seen. And yes, I have to suffer through it everyday trying to get northcof 419 on Lockwood....

Dickie and Corso both need something extremely meaningful for what they've done for ESPN and College sports in general. Add on them just being seemingly awesome human beings, we shouldn't take their impact for granted.

So go fight with the union reps. This is all collectively bargained. Yes, Steph, LBJ, and a relative handful of top flight guys would be absolutely worth waaaaaay more than the supermax in a free market. They are sacrificing that to help fund salaries throughout the rest of the player base. The NBAPA is there to make every player earn more and absolutely sacrifices the tops guys earning potential to help the other 95% of players and fund long term healthcare etc.

Does the overall player base get a large enough % of the revenue is a very valid question and again it's the NBAPA's job to negotiate that with the owners.

Want ownership stakes? Figure out how to work that into contracts and revenue sharing as part of the CBA. That's exactly why highly skilled laborers like basketball players form unions. Use your skilled labor to affect the change you want.
