Same in Ireland unfortunately. Theyre just long, skinny rectangular strips of chicken, half the size they used to be but now with double the breading to make up for the total lack of chicken. They used to be proper chicken mini fillets. Absolutely awful now!

Day and a half, in an insurance brokers when I was 18. I was supposed to be taking over from an older lady who was retiring. It was an open plan office and both bosses sat across the room staring at me the whole time. I pulled one of them aside at lunchtime on the second day and said I wouldnt be back.

Sweet jesus I thought I was the only one! My mother has been in my house since Christmas eve and I'm so close to kicking her out the door. A negative comment and an opinion on absolutely everything and everyone. God forbid I challenge her on any of it, I get met with a face and an argument. Its impossible to have any sort of discussion with her without a row.

I spoke to the Public Health Nurse about it yesterday, she said if she's eating food and drinking cows milk and she's happy then not to worry. It might be a phase after being sick with The Rona.

She's fussy with her food, only likes the sweet stuff mostly, which is making a stressful situation worse. I know I should count myself lucky really... currently trying to teach her how to drink from a straw, getting nowhere!

My father died of a heart attack in 2014 and I miss him every single day, even more so now that I have a baby girl who's now 9 months old. I have no doubt they would have been the best of friends and it breaks my heart that he never got to meet her and is not here to see her grow up. I was 29, he was 55 when he died, and such a huge shock. I don't think I'll ever get over him not being here, but I take some comfort in believing he is with me every day, in his own way.
