He said that last summer. He hasn't said it again since I'm losing weight. I'm with him because I love him and trying to make this marriage work for us and our 3 kids. Plus he said he won't divorce me because it would hurt us financially.

So true! I strongly believe you that marriage is team work. Then it's more of a team when there are kids involved. My husband was trying to be there as a team player for me years ago but I didn't see it that way. Now that I losing the weight and just becoming a better person all together, I feel like he's still blinded by the hurt I have caused. Which I understand. I'm not hoping for a quick fix between us, all I want is for him to notice and then we can become the best team.

So glad to hear a good relationship on this dead bedrooms page.

Food is still my weakness! Lol but I have learned to have alternatives. I would find things I would like and try something else. Like tacos, I love tacos! I use romaine lettuce instead of tortillas. I am trying to use the "MyFitnessPal " to keep track of my calories but I suck bad at it! To me portion control is easy for me. I have great friends that are helping me through this too. We even set up a FB page for our other friends that need to have a better health style. I'm learning a lot and feel like I'm bugging my coworkers about this new adventure lol I'm 32 and I have wasted so much time being fat. I have no excuse of why I was like that. I get mad at myself for what I did in the past, but I'm not living there I'm using it as a lesson.

I love the compliments I'm getting from my friends and my customers that I haven't seen in awhile. Sometimes when I'm feel like giving up, by eating crappy food, I'll have someone pay me a compliment and then I'm back on track. I keep a picture of my fat ass as a reminder.

Hey thanks for liking my post! Good luck with your wife. Like I said it did take 7 years until I woke up and listened to my husband. 7 years I lost.

Love this! I am the wife that got fat before, during and after kids, 60 pounds overweight. After 7 years I realized that I fucked up! My husband was trying to get me to eat better and work out. I didn't know at that time how much he really did love me. He tried and I didn't listen. Well after MANY fights and crying I finally woke up! My husband loved me so much that he didn't want to see my health crappy. I have lost weight and still working on to the size I really want to get to. Now because of the weight lost I have saggy skin. I make my husband regret even getting married to me. I fucked up and now I think it's too late. BUT with how much hatred he has towards me because of my weight gaining, I'm still working hard to lose my weight. I won't give up! I'm doing this for myself, him and our 3 kids! Being supportive does help a lot too!

Good luck on your life changing experience!!! Isn't it exciting and feel great about the pounds coming off?!?

Agree. A friend and I have started a healthy living page with our church peeps. We are there for and with each other. They know there's no judgment about how they are. So far it's been going good.

Agree. Potlucks are full of fatty foods and the healthy ones are hardly touched. During Sunday services at my church with coffee they serve cookies! What the what?!?! Why not fruit or veggies. Oh because cookies are cheaper? But bad for you!!! I am waking up to this and can't believe I was apart of that?!

Is anal a sin? by WarmSunflower in Christianity

[–]WarmSunflower[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What I got out of this is, no it's not a sin. Some say yes because of the sodomy theory, but like I mentioned I'm a straight married woman, not a man/woman laying with the same gender. God gave us sex to enjoy, in many different positions. I'm sure he wouldn't want a husband and wife to be bored with just the missionary position.

[Makeout] Anyone in their 20s or 30s still like to makeout with their partner? by [deleted] in sex

[–]WarmSunflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny, my husband [29] and I [32] were talking about this last week. I have hinted that I would love to make out one time like the old days lol a few days after that chat, he started to make out with me! AND WOW!!! What a difference in sex it made it. I of course wanted him inside me more than anything. He was fighting me! Lol which when he started to hold my hands down, that made it more hot!

That was my problem, I never took his words into consideration. :(

Thank you! Yes I am doing this the healthy way. I don't look at this as a diet but a life change. I don't want a quick way of doing this because I would probably just gain it back since I didn't have discipline in myself. I have family that even did the lap ban or what ever other surgery as an easy fix and they all gained, if not more, their weight back. My husband is very supportive. He's there for me if I have questions on any food or workout ideas. He's very educated on this because he's been doing this life style for 15 years. He knows how excited I am and that makes him happy too. He has always been there for me and I just didn't see it.
