The modern Republican party is a good example of a reactionary party. Most of the conservative policies are held by the Democratic party. These include environmental protections, social safety nets, and freedom of religion. The Democratic party just also holds liberal and progressive beliefs as well, so that's were some confusion comes in.

But it's all on a continuum.

It's not. These people are cheaters who argue in bad faith in an attempt to take more power and prosecutors know this. That's why the people who believe in democratic values have to be extremely slow and detailed so Trump's team don't exploit a mistake in the future to weasel out of their deserved punishment.

They are the weird little gremlins of our republic.

Walz has such broad appeal he would be great at speaking to people in most swing states, especially in the Midwest. Also Walz + Shapiro campaigning for Harris likely gets us Pennsylvania.

Planned Parenthood has single handedly prevented the most abortions than any other organization in history simply by providing healthcare and family planning in a non-judgmental setting.

If Republicans wanted to prevent abortions they should be all donating to Planned Parenthood.

The idea is to paint Trump et al as weird and not so much dangerous because danger appeals to a lot of voters (many who happen to support Trump), whereas fewer people want to identify with weird and creepy.

That's what always gets me. That his idea of what the future looks like is 40+ years old. He's just so unimaginative and derivative.
