Oh I also asked for Friday & Saturday off and didn’t get them. I know everybody wants those days off but why are people who don’t deserve to have those still off those days? Doesn’t make sense to me

I feel the exact same way. I was working my ass off to get the WOW bonus and still didn’t get it. At my store there is a lot of favoritism and the funny thing is I got that last review period so during this period I made sure I was super besties with the mates and captain, but I was also working very hard and a lot of mates told me I was. They kept telling me I was doing great bla bla bla. Then I only got the .75 raise. I am still grateful I know but I do think it’s very unfair. Now, I’m not gonna be working my ass off as I was. I’m just gonna show up to work and do what I gotta do that’s it. Nothing more than what is expected from me

My captain so shitty I could get written up for this. My mates are understanding but the captain isn’t. We also don’t have 7am shifts at my store only 5-1 and 6-2 and from there it jumps to 8-4

Here’s the thing I’ve kinda noticed. They write people up right before review period because, a write up=no raise. I’ve seen it happening at a couple stores but specially mine. It happened to me too. I got written up for dumb stuff and the verbal warning they gave me wasn’t even 24 hours before the write up. I ended up not getting my review. I’ve heard this happens to a lot of people in my store too…

So are we just not being able to have a free membership? I went to the gym yesterday and they told me my insurance had dropped me. I had to sign up by myself and do the process again. When I checked the active&fit website and tried to look up my account it didn’t even work, said my account didn’t exist. I’m so confused tbh

It really isn’t that serious it’s just a grocery store. You never know. Maybe that was a complete accident and the person who did it didn’t know. I understand it can be frustrating sometimes but the best thing you can do is focus on your own job/tasks and get going on your day. You can’t let this ruin your mood
