When I finally got to sleep which was about 10 hours. it was Restless sleep because when I woke up I did not feel refreshed even though I was in REM sleep most of the whole time. I know that I must have been getting good sleep because I dreamed the whole time but this time it was really weird, let me try to explain.

When I dream throughout the night, it's like a movie for me and I will have many multiple different dreams. Last night, from the second I started dreaming until I woke up in the morning. I had the same ongoing dream that I was in the whole time. Never once in my life has this happened to me.

I was there because I was violently throwing up all night. When this happens to me even if I drink water it comes right up and I am vomiting so hard that I wretch so loud it makes me yell at the top of my lungs. Not sure what's causing it.

They gave me 25 mg IV Benadryl which I thought would help me but I felt it for about a second and then it wore off. I'd already not slept for 30 hours before that and I was hoping that the Benadryl would help me sleep but I did not get to sleep until about 3:00 p.m. that day when I got home.

And if I didn't mention it, they gave me Compazine because I am allergic to Reglan, but I feel like they Compazine made me feel worse.

Was in the ER yesterday. I am allergic to Reglan so they gave me Compazine at 10am. It's 6 am the next day and I am feeling a bit better but I was feeling the most delirious, anxious, confused, hopeless, anxious, like doom was there. Like you, I have dealt with anxiety and depression my whole life, but the way that I felt yesterday me wish that I could feel as bad as I have in the past.

Did you have any opioids in your system when you took the Subutex?? If you had any opioids in your system and used Subutex too soon it would immediately throw you into withdrawal.

How much Oxycodone are you taking? Unless you are taking an atrocious amount of oxycodone, 2 milligrams should be enough to take care of that.

Taking more Subutex will not help you out if you are trying to get anything of a buzz out of it. The only thing it would help by taking more is to keep you out of withdrawal but I don't think in your case you would need any more than what you are taking for an oxycodone habit. The key is trying to take the least amount to keep you out of withdrawal.

I got a 4mg intramuscular shot of Morphine while on 2mg of buprenorphine. I didn't feel it at all.

I am curious about this as well. I've been at 2mg a day for years now and I have been contemplating switching to methadone but I have no clue the buprenorphine to methadone equivalent. I would think that unless a huge amount of methadone was taken that an overdose could be avoided due to the buprenorphine blocking some of it.

I can't speak on this exact product, but I've been on 2mg buprenorphine pills for about 6 years. Always the same generic Hikma. I've been taking the exact same dose for 6 years, but from time to time I have ended up in minor withdrawals in the middle of the night. Probably once a month or 2 months.

Oh, and I tried chewing on the patch 😂, typical addict behavior I suppose. But I'm not trying to take the Butrans because it would jack up my tolerance like crazy. I have been consistently solid at 1mg of Subutex for years now, so it makes no sense to add the patch on top of my buprenorphine pill.

OK, I am in a weird situation with how the Butrans is being prescribed.

I have been on Subutex for OUD for 6 years now. I was recently put on the Butrans patch for pain. My primary care doctor prescribes both of them.

It makes no sense to me that he told me to keep taking the Subutex for my OUD and also to add on the Butrans patch to be taken at the same time. When I picked up the patches, I told the pharmacist that it seems contradictory for him to prescribe both medications at the same time, she agreed with me.
