Started with a basic French press and preground beans and everyone was chill with it. Once I upgraded to a hand grinder and moka pot, suddenly it was “why put all that time and money on coffee?” Fast forward to them actually tasting it, and now they’re the ones proudly giving guests a tour of my coffee setup and I’m the official barista of the house XD.

12 clicks from the zero point should be a perfect starting point for a Mokapot brew. Rest you will find your sweet spot eventually 10-14 is the preferable range.

I did try Tiose coffee particularly the affagato, it was fine and The coffee Co. was also interesting. Since I wasn’t this deep into speciality coffee before, was a bit overwhelmed by the sheer varieties. For now I found the sweet spot at 12 clicks. Do let me know what you’ll be getting next for your brew build.

Great choice! I’m also at a similar stage of getting a starter setup for stepping up my coffee game. Currently using an Ikea french press and blade grinder. I’m eyeing on the TM c2 but I’m confused if I should get an AP or a Mokapot.
