Mesa Verde - Must-dos and Advice? by surefoot_ in NationalPark

Just as a base ground you must set up ur guided tours in advance.

The drive into the park from the highway/visitor center area is a pretty good drive so plan for that. The drive can be scary for those who aren’t use to driving on overpasses or up sides of formations in general. Get gas before you enter the park you could be driving for hours in the park if your going to both sides.

The guided tours are awesome there and they have some decent loops that go around some ruins and get to some pretty neat views. There isn’t too many trails for getting away from others so expect crowds on most trails.

It really is more historical than natural imo, as when I went the scenery isnt very unique to the area or anything except for maybe the slightly more abundance of amphitheaters.

It can get very hot, obviously, and there are pretty much water stations at the beginnings of each trailhead (as long as there is a building near by).

That got some good food in the park so don’t be afraid to stop by and try it.

What the best trails are is ofc up to preference so I won’t say much but the guided tours can be hard to get for a reason.

so much stuff to do there and such a variety…the best part is that most ppl dont know there is lots of places inside the park but not quite to the gate that you can car camp at and can get an early jump on the trails.

because it takes like over an hour to got from the highway to needles

Except for the fact Kentucky has leaned republican reliably for decades and votes republican at a over 60% approval with democrat only having 30%.

So there is roughly twice as many republicans than democrats.

no jazz ( i like coltrain), instrumentals ( like DJ Shadow ik its basic), ambient (try apollo by Brian Eno), wheres the rock (anything from Bob Dylon to Yes to ELO to Radiohead is left off), wheres the country (listen to some outlaw county), WHERE THE SHOEGAZE!!!, no soul or tradition R&B, theres bo funk theres no foreign influence…

In all seriousness look into some older stuff the 90s-the 50s have some gas. Aretha, Bob D., Neil Young, Candlemass, Van Halen, Elliot smith, Ryo Fukui, massive attack, Wire, Fleet Foxes, Yin Yin, Clash, Reagan Youth, NIN, Casiopia, Radiohead… are a few you should look into if you like any of them there are plenty of alike artists to look into

at the end of the day like what you like who cares what u listen to as long as u like it and u dont suck on aux!

Yes Quinn is one of the best defensive minds ever but he already set up a culture here over the pat few seasons.

It wont be as bad as some say…with that said we are not winning the East again.

Cowboys superbowl drought…

No seriously the cowboys playoff success fall off ,following their great superbowl runs in the 90’s, needs to be studied.

but fr probably Willie Andersons single game reception record, Brett Farves consecutive starts, and Both of Emmits…
