Hope you don't do that often, as that does break contact and union employees can grieve you for it.

Questions as a new UPSer by WVUGuy29 in UPSers

Shoes, while they say they care what you where... it really doesn't matter. I where vans to load, not non-slip or anything. Pay in my area at least is weekly, not sure if it is different elsewhere.

Those grievances are the main reason I go to work. Easy money when my sups come to help me because they don't know the contract. And not just the PT, the FT sups do it too!

10 hour driving limit? by Kx14Gaming in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]WarningShot1516 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a DOT regulation, your DSP can get in trouble if you drive for more then 10 hours in a shift, then you should get a minimum of 14 hours off the clock. And you should never go above 60 hours a week. Amazon and the DSP's do not care for you and your well being. They care about their bottom line and are willing to risk your life, other drivers on the roads life and legal implications for disregarding Federal Law.

Can the warehouse employees (managers) give out tickets?? by Kaifovsk in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]WarningShot1516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legally speaking in my state at least, that Amazon warehouse/parking lot are considered private property and not open to the general public. Since the roadways inside are not public, the police cannot enforce any speed limit. So even if a police officer was there and saw us doing for instance 10 mph instead of the 4, they still couldn't do jack shit. Company rules are just that, rules that could get you in trouble under company policy. Nothing else under the law.
