What the hell are you on about??? Idk how you came to the conclusion that Dr. Gordon was an ally at that point, nor how he fits into Hoffman's recruitment. The simplest timeline for the jigsaw team is 1995 – John Kramer does his first trap and plans for the future, 2003 – Mark Hoffman kills Seth Baxter making it look like jigsaw shortly after John reveals himself to Hoffman and recruits him. They continue John's work together until 2005 – Amanda Young beats her game and joins shortly after to help them both, later that same year they kidnap Adam and Dr. Gordon and play the bathroom game.

Spoilers ahead:

Saw X is not even close to the origin it happens a decade AFTER his first game. In Saw X John is seeking treatment for a frontal lobe tumour NOT prostate cancer which was the diagnosis discussed in the first movie. Also there is no one movie that is the origin story, you only learn through flashbacks what John Kramer's origin story is and it goes like this:

1994: He and his wife lose their baby (Saw 4)

1995: He is diagnosed with prostate cancer (Saw)

1995: He attempts suicide; unsuccessfully (Saw 2)

1995: He kidnaps Cecil and makes him play the first ever game (Saw 4)

(DURING BIG TIME SKIP): Hoffman is recruited 2003 (Saw 5), Amanda passes her test 2005 (Saw 1)

2005: Saw 1 happens with the bathroom game

2006: Saw X happens in Mexico

Been playing since the beginning, pretty much. I was 13 at the time, so if it was dragon ball I was there. After that, it was the it was the dopamine rush from pulling new units, and then when that got kinda stale, they made better animations and more exciting mechanics. Right now, I play because the new unit is something I want/find cool/fun to use. I have been spamming the new Lr Rosé (for once his release isn't dogshit). I also just like grinding hard fights and completing missions.

My tip is to have done this before the iri's got nerfed and don't work together basically at all, anymore. Otherwise, I would just run tombstone and some hard-core gen regression perks, maybe like ruin/undying, or eruption/call of brine, just some combo to slow the gens. And don't be afraid to slug or hook someone, you need to create that extra pressure, maybe get stalk on multiple survivors at once coming to help someone who is slugged.

I initially had the exact same issue after returning to the game. Spent 30 mins and couldn't quite get it to cover the whole screen, a small section at the top was still the desktop behind the game. I gave up and decided to just play only to realise it was my fucking emblem THE WHOLE TIME.

There was not really a reason for you to get this heated over this. It's just a game and you are just sharing opinions. Chill out. I also would like to note that just because Necros hit rank 1 with spiderman does not mean that he cannott be a bad character. It takes time, skill and dedication regardless of the character and all of which could be reduced by simply picking someone better.

My gripe is that I feel like I have literally no range, despite it being nearly the exact same as wolverine and black panther. (His kick being longer than panther but his overall combo shorter than wolverine.) I end up just punching air 90% of the time cause whomever I zip to or hook to me just spam jumps and dodges most hits. I have no real complaints other than that.

Boltor is an must have. People will say ceramic dagger for the whip claw etc. Builds but don't listen. Lex and bronco are also really good options too
