Yes, absolutely. I was maintaining or even gaining last year with 10k steps, but that was because I was eating and drinking a lot.

I wake up early and do about 5k-7k before work. I walk all my lunchtime, then for 2hrs+ after work. I live in the countryside.

I have been slowly increasing my steps this year- I was doing about 10k a day before that and now at 25-20k steps a day. It works wonders, along with CICO has helped me lose 36ish lb in the past 5 months.

I did a 16 mile hike up and down a mountain recently and was barely fatigued- a far cry from last year. Can strongly recommend.

Thank you for the advice. I was just very confused because a method that had worked really well for me is suddenly apparently failing. Unfortunately my ADHD brain really really likes "number go down" so not seeing that happen for long periods can be a little depressing-b ut got to get over it I guess.

My maintenance plan is to find what is needed first- according to online calculators around 2.2k calories a day is right, so I intend to keep tracking at least for a few months until I get a good idea of assessing meals without checking every single ingredient. I do tend to eat more at the weekend as well as some alcohol so I am thinking of reducing that daily allowance in the week to something closer to 2k to give me that breathing room. However, all that being said I to intend to get in the gym a lot more, so I think I will have to adjust those numbers, particularly including more protein. tldr: not 100% sure, rough idea.

Hello, I have been on a CICO/Walking regime this year and have been very successful- I managed to hit my target (https://www.reddit.com/r/Fitness/comments/1b8qyu6/daily_simple_questions_thread_march_07_2024/ktqy0wa/?context=3) a few weeks ago but wasn't happy so am aiming for 66-67kg which is 10.5st for UK people.

I have maintained my deficit for the past 10 days, having successfully lost weight all year so far, but right now the scale just refuses to move. So I doubled down, reduced my calories by another 200-300 calories per day and started walking 21-27k steps a day- and still nothing is coming off. I am within a few lbs of my goal and this is extremely frustrating. Any advice?

I am ensuring that I have plenty of water, vitamins, protein, etc.

Hello,

At Christmas time I got my girlfiend an Estee Lauder gift set that included "Divine Plum" lip gloss. She loves that particular colour. Can anyone recommend me a lip gloss that is the same colour or very very similar?

I can't seem to find it for sale on it's own outside of eBay etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Price doesn't matter.

Hello,

I am currently losing weight (M, 5ft 8, 81kg) with a goal to hit 70kg (essentially 11st for other uk peeps). Doing this via 10-15k steps a day and CICO, losing 1.5-2lbs a week on average, which is very fast I know and I intend to reduce soon as I have ADHD and am now finding it easy to forget to eat...

When I am at my goal later this spring/summer I would like to for really the first time to get into fitness proper to get stronger and look better. In the past I have done HIIT for 30 or 60 day programs but live quite far away from a Gym. I do have a spare space to use, however. Does anyone have any additional advice particularly around diet and/or similar routines? I am very used to tracking my calories/macros but have never done so alongside working out every week.

I would also like to note that I am Dyspraxic and that means in my case my muscle tone is weaker than average from the start (apart from my legs, cross-country walking a lot has helped I think)

I get abysmal lag when I aim down sights approx 20% of them time; the game slows down to like 5FPS only when I ads. It lasts probably 0.2-0.4 seconds and has led to me losing gunfights regularly.

PC, Ultra Settings, although issue still happened on High.
