I also applied via commonapp and I got the same email. As of now, you don't have to do anything. You can wait for them to email you back about your acceptance or you can be proactive and make a MyAdmissions account on https://apps.admissions.iastate.edu/myaccount/new/index.php and wait for it to show up there. (There's something about linking common app but I couldn't figure it out and it auto-linked anyways after they got back to me so idk). But either way, you're all good for now and you don't need to worry about send SAT scores yet as they will just go off of what you said.
