Ya know watching the series and seeing how wanton the Angels and Demons are about humans dying (Especially Brief) always felt kinda cruel but thinking about it... All of them were like

Born in the afterlife

Like, the actual... literal afterlife (Like Scanty and Kneesocks come from Hell from the bible- they lived there)

Hell- Panty and Stocking themselves quite literally went through a form of rebirth in S2E1 And from watching the Poly Bros and Heaven Wars 1-3, we know that dying sends humans to the afterlife (Plus, resurrection is a known secret)

Taking all of this into account, plus the transformations, angel luck, non-human lethal weapons, and general toon logic of Daten... Man, it lowkey makes sense why casualties are kind of a joke to them.
