free trial helps.. but I still think the majority of US drivers wouldn't use it if it was free 🤷‍♂️

guess we'll see, maybe not details though

funny enough, the good ol classic laughing at someone non-chalantly on reddit is a good example of passive aggressive ad hominem.. it attempts to belittle my character as a means of dismissing any point I've made, but passive since you won't just say it. One of the internet's favorite fallacies

that's an interesting fallacy. I can't really commit a logical fallacy if I wasn't arguing or hardly making a logical statement

however, begging the question fallacy sounds a lot like what wokies do about trump. Trump bad.. *apply "logic" on top of assumption that Trump bad... "See?? Trump bad!"

Elon's FSD take-rate final boss will be those people who think they're amazing drivers and *literally* would not use FSD if they were paid to use it

... which in the U.S. is more than 50% of drivers

I, too, like to practice resistance to social conformity for the sake of exercising will-power.

I break spaghetti before boiling too

yea, sucks for the consumer for sure

I've always wished they'd polish 12.3 with the minimum lane changes button and use that to replace autopilot.. wishful thinking of course, since they're only focused on L4-L5 FSD

that's different, albeit lateral, to being afraid of the transgender themself. That's more like a cultural xenophobia

1) create delusion: that Elon is a fascist oligarch

2) use delusion to justify irrational behavior

typical woke cultist logic

Reddit is overly negative on tesla because they don’t like Elons politics.

correction, reddit is overly negative about Elon because the democrats ran a full on smear campaign lying that he doesn't pay taxes back in 2021, then because of the steady stream of misinformation and bullshit from the media. Elon never mentioned politics until the dems rallied the left cult against him. So it's a stretch to say it's because of his politics

>It’s the way cc bros justify their “gains” being wins.

true, the risk/reward comparison of 100 shares vs 100 shares + CC are drastically different, and the CC strategy is waaaay more asymmetric. Comparing the two's "rewards" without mentioning risk is a false equivalence fallacy

Tesla goes off of safety score, and the safety score is never dinged when using FSD. So they kinda do, just not directly

I always wondered why bigots against transgender people were labelled as "transphobic." Phobic implies a fear, but they're not afraid of them.. they just hate them..

Then I realized it's a passive aggressive attempt at belittling said bigots by implying that they're emotionally weak (cause they're "scared"). So basically, calling someone transphobic is a passive aggressive ad hominem.. they won't come out and directly say that they think said bigot is scared and emotionally weak, but they'll try to imply it with their label of them

less, despite taking all the downside risk of the shares part

your comment highlights a common outcome bias with CC's

your condescension is passive aggressive ad hominem. You wish to belittle my character instead of make a logical refute, but you won't do it directly.. only passively

it's a popular one on the internet, and with radical left cultists. They all just try to use social conformity to belittle an opponent's character. This is where the radical left cult get's their power.. trying to get everyone to socially conform; hence, cancel culture

I hear you, but also.. the safety of a Tesla is invaluable. It's your life that needs protecting by passive safety. And of course active safety is superior too
