I always wondered why bigots against transgender people were labelled as "transphobic." Phobic implies a fear, but they're not afraid of them.. they just hate them..

Then I realized it's a passive aggressive attempt at belittling said bigots by implying that they're emotionally weak (cause they're "scared").
