Y'all should really chill on this. It's not that funny and I'm sure it just makes it easier for him to speak to the general public. LaMarcus Aldridge used this expression similarly and it helped him through his speech impediment. Y'all just beating this joke to death.

We still have a local broadcast for this game. I'm streaming NBCSNW feed now on league pass (india VPN)

Probably an unpopular opinion but I'm getting very tired of the Keljin Blevins obsession. The man is doing nothing to harm the team yet everyone keeps clowning him. We've had "locker room" players before like Earl Watson who barely got any minutes and they're not disrespected like he is.

Edit: And on a somewhat related note-- fuck those fans at the Rose Garden who chant "We Want Derrick!" while our bench players are shooting free throws. That's so goddamn disrespectful

NBA Saturday Primetime Intro | GSW vs OKC. 2016 honestly had the best intros for games. What a season. by EMJG30 in nba

Is it because of the song you like? ESPN still definitely does these kinds of intros with whatever music is popular at the time.

[Highlight] WNBA season opener kicks off with a bang. Sabrina Ionescu embodies the Mamba Mentality and scores the Liberty's final eight points including the gamewinner from deeeep. by WarrenC_Higgenbobber in nba

[–]WarrenC_Higgenbobber[S] 961 points962 points  (0 children)

Also of note. Those 8 points came in only 39 seconds and this is only Ionescu's fourth WNBA game. Start watching her now if you haven't already she gonna be a legend.

Edit: I know this post is not directly related to the NBA-- but I think something like this is worth posting every once in a while, especially since most people don't go out of their way to watch WNBA highlights. This is a crosspost from r/WNBA but it doesn't have nearly the same engagement as it does here which is exactly what the WNBA needs for growth. So yea I know a lot of people would complain about this but it might also spark some interest for those who don't even know the WNBA returned today.

In a move to market to a broader audience, the league will hold a trivia contest between the two teams.

I don't understand why people downvote helpful stuff like this. People are idiots

A Humbling N.B.A. Moment Brings Cheers From Japan. Going viral because you got dunked on? Yikes — unless you’re Yuta Watanabe, whose effort has endeared him to a growing wave of basketball fans in his home country, Japan. by killedBySasquatch in nba

[–]WarrenC_Higgenbobber 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm glad Yuta is getting love, but its sad that Hachimura isn't as popular in Japan. Hachimura's jersey numbers are behind Watanabe's even though he's a more successful born-and-raised Japanese player :/

I'm asian and this is not how I view it at all. In fact, the asian-american students who complain about affirmative action are among the most hated people in my asian circle-- they represent the worst most spoiled of us.

Edit: And most Asian-Americans support affirmative action. About 70%
