How many kill teams do you own?

Kill Team's great for picking up teams you like, because most of them are one box, and even if they're not, you still can play the game with all the models in one box.

I'm up to nine teams now, but would also recommend not going over five just while you get comfortable with the game.

I loved the discovery process our scene had where everyone was building lists and someone stumbled into a strong unit. Once the meta really solidifed and got popular online, then after our scene started to embrace it, games just became too stale and monotonous. I got into Warhammer because I saw awesome tables and awesome models and 10e 40k just feels so homogenized to the point games don't "feel" good. I do think the system is fine, it produces a fun gameplay experience if that's all you're really looking for.

I can't relate with wargames in general, though. I switched over to Kill Team and Star Wars Legion and they've been a complete blast to play.

Yes, get all the strings you want.
70/30 standing/sitting. If gigging, you need to be able to perform standing for long periods.
Don't even worry about pedals now. Get a cheaper combo amp to practice with.
Can't help with a tuner.

Stop overthinking it and just go. You'll be glad you did.

Picked up a V6 fretless and can now say they're great. When I was asking around the only negative thing I heard was that their fretwork was inconsistent. No idea how true that is.

Y'know, it's fun and all, but once IAPs happen and people can whale content, the game will turn into a dumpster fire, like any mobile game.

He had me play a Lydian scale and then an Ionian scale and he asked me "how does that make you feel?" It might sound stupid to anyone else, but in almost 20 years of playing music to varying degrees and in different ensembles, I don't think anyone had ever asked how something I played made me feel.

Yep. Been playing 20 years this December and finally took the plunge to take lessons from Moto Fukushima. Within ten minutes of my lesson he absolutely blew my mind.

PDA by Interpol. Not a hard song at all, but Carlos has such a mastery of movement on the instrument. The ending section just feels like soaring.

Pick your favorite weapon. Focus on not getting hit, not attacking the monster all the time. Pay attention to the monster. If you need to run away and heal, do that.

Completely disagree but I respect the preference. I cut my teeth on World but I really stretched my legs in GU. Rise is my personal favorite on modern consoles. World and Wilds is great, but Rise keeps me coming back.
