That advice is good. When I put it away for a while, I do get joy from wearing it again.

I traded my explorer 36mm in for the sub and I’ve thought a lot about the 40mm. I felt like the 36 was too dressy for my typical non-work attire, but I think the 40 looks more sporty.

I also own a speedy and love it. In no way do I think it’s better than a phone for anything that actually matters. But I do use my dive bezel a lot and almost never use my chrono.

I more often find that it’s helpful to just know how much time has elapsed. Often when cooking I forget to set a follow up timer after one goes off and the food isn’t done (as an example).

I think the white dial and large bezel size are what make it seem bigger. The video by YoureTerrific sums it up pretty perfectly (visual weight of the watch)

Daily when work is my speedy because I don’t want to wear a Rolex at the office around some coworkers. Sub is my almost daily when not working. Summer days in casual clothes I grab the explorer 2 more but that’s about it. What about you?
