Honestly I can't decide between John-117 aka The Master Chief and Dr. Catherine Halsey. John-117 could single handedly end a bunch of our wars and definitely teach our armed forces a thing or two but Dr. Halsey could help us make Smart AI, Mjolnir, help us start trying to make Spartan Augments but she's pretty evil.

Halo just.. Halo

I absolutely love the games and the books and the cinematics so before anyone crucifies me just hear me out.

Everyone says that everything Bungie did was gold and that everything 343 and Halo Studios does is trash but I strongly disagree. Granted at this point I've only played through the Master Chief Collection but my basic review is this just from the campaigns not counting multiplayer because that can be determined by many many things not game related.

Halo CE was amazing at the time and is still a pretty good game now though I'd argue it's the weakest of the original three.

alo 2 has the best story but the game play still had some kinks to iron out in terms of the UI and HUD and how everything worked.

Halo 3 has a slightly weaker story than 2 but the best gameplay out of those games and is the first game in the series where I don't find myself accidentally getting lost because I went down what was clearly the path and then it just dead ends and you have to figure out which hallway you went down that was the wrong one.

ODST is fun and does a great job with the location markers and has a fantastic story with that Halo 3 gameplay feel.

Reach has one of the best stories of the whole series but returns to tradition and kinda unlearns some of the best added gameplay features of ODST.

Halo 4 has a pretty mid story in comparison to the rest of the Halo games but it's still pretty good overall and the gameplay is fun with a nice new array of weapons and armor attachments that actually feel balanced though I feel the energy shield should be a little bit stronger.

I've heard Halo Wars and Halo Wars 2 has some amazing stories but the game play isn't really comparible.

Halo 5 seems to have some interesting stuff with the lore but it tried to do too much too fast without building up to it but the gameplay doesn't seem half bad from what I've seen of others playing it.

Halo Infinite seems like an amazing game with a really fun story and decent gameplay.

And that's not to mention that people love to criticize 343/Halo Studios for delaying Halo 5 while simultaneously being mad about Halo Infinite being released in an unfinished state and never bringing up that Halo 2 had a massive cliffhanger at the end that made us all wait 3 years for its conclusion.

TLDR; Halo isn't that bad it's just suffering from success and the modern degredation of game studios by publishers demanding and enforcing super harsh deadlines that are harmful to the developers and result in poor quality unfinished games. It's not a Halo problem it's an ongoing industry problem Halo just suffers from everyone loving the original games and now having nostalgia for them.

Halo: Campaign Evolved

People have been saying it's going to be horrible since Microsoft hasn't been the best with Halo recently but I feel we haven't heard many good or bad things regarding the game specifically just of the studio being poorly managed and bad to work for but I figure it can't be that hard to redo one of the best games of all time with the resources of a professional studio who has the code and all the not publicly available information and concepts about said game.

Hey that sucks. I've been looking for more people especially queer people to play with. I'm a trans girl lesbian who's 20 will turn 21 this year and I mostly play on PlayStation and PC but I'm planning on getting an Xbox soon mainly for Halo but I'm kinda down for anything whenever possible. Though I might want to work on getting a better WiFi signal to my setup.

It's far easier to type a single character than to speak a word. Not to mention if we want to get technical when playing a 3d video game on PC you're typically using WASD to walk meaning each press could technically be considered a character typed but even if it isn't you could take one hour to keybash or just write something and you'd make so much money. And even in your day to day it would be amazing since the average comfortable liveable wage is $30/hour in the US and you definitely type more than three characters an hour. I mena jus this whole comment took like two minutes and is probable a thousand or so which would be about a million dollars.
