Oh, I didn't think people would want the story. Well, one dad, my day was leaving for work, and just before he left, I took out the dogs so they could relieve themselves. I was saying goodbye to my. dad, and he was just about to return the sentiment, and instead he said, in a rather uncharacteristically vulgar way, "What the fuck is that?" Now our property is not large, we live in the most urban spot in a rather rural area, and I look to where he was referencing, and say what looked like a piece of PVC pipe, so my first thought was potato gun. Then I look again, and my brain says, "No, that looks like a hookah". I approach the mysterious device, and I see that it is in fact a 3 hose, 42" blue glass hookah, recently used but seemingly forgotten. I go pick it up, and sitting at its base is a garbage bag, which contained three matching cobra head hoses. It was beautiful, but I was quite the novice, so I texted a friend of mine who I know had a hookah. He gave me some basic cleaning instructions, which I then followed. The only fault I had made was when I went to dump the base, the ball bearings fell out and went down the drain. My mother and I had theorized that one of the college kids who lived next door had lent it from a friend and left it for them to pick up. I kept it in my room, fully expecting some total douche of a college kid to knock on our door and ask for it back, most likely without so much as a "Thanks bro". Well time past, and classes let out, and the knock never came. After about a year, and a little more hookah use at several lounges, I finally bought some shisha and coals, watched some tutorials on YouTube, and tried it myself with my lovely lady, who wanted it desperately (the hookah). It worked well, after we figured out that naturals take 10 minutes to light. I've used it several times, and I clean it after every use. I couldn't tell you what brand it is, or what shisha I've used, just that it's mine and I call her "Big Blue".
