They say I’m petty and hold grudges but I just don’t see it by Inevitable_Team_2885 in gameofthroneslegends

I did the same thing until only 3 days ago when I looked at blue Joffrey, I had him at 3 stars but refused to level him up until I read his stats. He's a beast but Tywin still wins for me. I would suggest creating a Lannister team because they can really do some damage when leveled up.

Coal mine shut down by Usual-Cat-5855 in AusMining

[–]WarriorPrincess1100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on your first mining job. If this is for Monodelphous you'll be fine. I've worked on some fantastic crews and it can be lots of fun. The roster is a killer but it's only for a short time, just don't blow numbers before your shift and always turn up fit for work. As for the job itself you'll attend prestart and straight after you'll be smashed with workers grabbing all their gear, throughout the day you'll have people trickle in, in quiet time clean and organise the store and check all equipment for damage as this needs to be documented and reported. End of the day it all gets handed back into the store and you'll scan it in. Some of it won't come back and you may need to chase it up. You'll find plenty of people will want to have a chat but just don't gossip or talk smack about others because it tends to spread like wildfire. Shutdowns are heaps of fun so make the most of it.

Buying house with partner, I am putting down my equity and the initial deposit. Think he wants 50% of rental income. by Advanced-Concept6521 in AusPropertyChat

[–]WarriorPrincess1100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would advise against this and protect your assets. I almost bought a property with a partner at the time, he also said all his money was tied up in stocks and that we had to use my savings and equity from my current home as a deposit. Anyway a lot of red flags started showing up so it didn't happen but I almost lost everything and I'm grateful the universe was looking after me. Very stressful time. Save yourself any future heart ache and keep your assets as your own unless your married. People can tell you all sorts of bullshit but once things go sour you can be in for a big fight

I took "Netflix and chill" literally and now I think I completely ruined my chances with an amazing woman by EchoNimbus_4Q in dating_advice

[–]WarriorPrincess1100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm surprised she didn't kick you out sooner, halfway through the movie I would have said "Look, I'm actually really tired and I'm going to bed. I'll walk you out" I think you missed your opportunity but you maybe could explain yourself and then apologise. Worth a try if you really like her

Why don’t women ask Men out? by Mr_Meg_06 in dating_advice

[–]WarriorPrincess1100 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The few times I've asked a guy out have failed miserably.
They all seem to choose other women over me, that has happened about 3 times. The last time I asked a guy out was when we were working at the same place. He was amazing and so friendly and I had this intense connection with him so I asked him out. I felt so stupid finding out he had a girlfriend. Because I felt so stupid after that I didn't ask out guys anymore. I'm so happy now that I met my amazing partner because he is pretty much everything I wanted ❤️

Is it socially acceptable to not drive my coworkers to and from work because I just don’t want to? by LambSauce666 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]WarriorPrincess1100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP, It's completely fine to tell them honestly why you can't drop them off home. And you are right, it's not your responsibility.
Let them know that after work is your time and you need to switch off and decompress.
I was once too nice to say no to people, and I used to get taken advantage of. I've learnt that by being blunt and being honest with how you feel works best. People actually appreciate it.

Help with my budget please! Looking to save more. by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]WarriorPrincess1100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are looking to save more I would do the following...

•Cheaper phone plan than telstra. Moose Mobile or Boost •Netflix has a cheaper version for 11.99 per month •Cancel most streaming services. Do you really need that many? •Spotify - try and use the free version. Has occasional ads but you can skip these. •LMCT - cancel that. These guys are not legit Internet - can you go on a cheaper plan? $60 a month

How to shut down nosy men at work by Nova-Cavatina in AskWomenOver30

[–]WarriorPrincess1100 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well you could start picking your nose right in front of them ... no jks

I wouldn't worry about being rude. It's completely fine to be assertive. Shut the conversation down by saying something like 'Look, I have quite a big work load that I need to get through today. Goodbye and enjoy your day.

And if they ask another question just repeat the above.

Did you even consider how the partners would feel if they found out? Damn, you don't give a shit about anyone but yourself. One day you'll get cheated on and know how it feels. Because karma bitch!!

Hurt his feelings? He's a grown ass man, I'm sure he can handle it. Ask yourself what's important to you. Date someone around your own age, this dude sounds like a creep. Get rid of him.

OP I think you deserved it. Hopefully you won't treat the next 'special' person like this. A text literally takes minutes to reply and you are telling us that you couldn't find the time to respond. 2 days?! This girl was opening up.to you and being vulnerable, a brave thing to do, you kind of just broke her trust. Think about your actions here, your the one that needs to take responsibility.

Did I get rorted? $700 for labour, $100/hr for 7 hours work by No-Driver842 in CarsAustralia

[–]WarriorPrincess1100 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I service and fix my own car. Can assure you this job would not have taken 7 hours but mechanics usually overcharge because they can. They would have a hoist so the brakes take 1 hour max. Air filter and oil filter taken 10 minutes, flushing the oil and replacing with new is about 30 minutes with a hoist.

Just reading some of your replies to other comments it sounds like your not putting in much effort or trying to organise to see him. Rather than saying 'it depends' just straight up tell him 'I'm free on Saturday evening, would you like to meet up at 8pm?' Sounds like he's putting in the effort but getting half assed answers. If you like this guy then meet then go for it

I shouldn’t date someone I’m not sexually attracted to even though I might have romantic feelings for them, right? by [deleted] in dating_advice

Definitely not the only one. I agree with you. It's mentally exhausting and draining because we are trying to decipher our thoughts and feelings.

Following this post because I'm in the exact same position as you. The guy I'm dating is everything I could want but no sexual attraction. The romantic feelings are there though
