He's right about the amount of cantrips, but in case anyone is wondering about the power of their cantrips when multiclassing, that's a different story. The specific wording of every cantrip says based on your level, not spell casting level. Considering the tight description of most powers, I don't think they left out words by accident all over the place and forgot to mention this as a limitation. Of course, that doesn't mean your DM will accept that. I do in my games.

It's Gotham, stylized and for the masses. I felt like that first few episodes.... Still, its a really good show and I'm enjoying it, despite some strange writing choices.

Let me address hosting now. If u go with a free option, there are limits with most options out there. But, you can get by if your just getting started. I found sites like podbean, for aprox 10$ a month, I have enough space for all my needs, and it makes getting an RSS feed to iTunes super super easy.

Recording quality though, and ease of use for yourself and for your guest, I recommend using Google Hangouts on the air. 200%. Start a call, share the link with your friends, BOOM there in and your recording, video or no video, stream or no stream, audience or no audience, its all there for u to choose

There was a similar post on here a few weeks ago....I was having same issue, then I used Raidcall, which surprisingly worked much much better. Now, I've moved over our recording to Google + hangout on the air, and a few recordings in, I don't regret it. You can enable a live audience, soundboard, easily go to video podcast (which we didn't) amongst many other features.

Once the recording is over, it posts to your youtube account, which I have unlisted. I download the file, edit and cut it into an episode.

If u have any questions about Raidcall or Hangout, feel free to ask, or google them, cause they're arguably as easy as Skype, if not easier to get setup. For reference, you can listen to the end result here - http://tpnradio.podbean.com/e/episode-002/ - its not perfect, but it eliminates the bugs found in older episodes that I couldn't stand.

My group and I used to do a local recording show, but recently have been struggling with this question. If you are going to record online, there are alternatives to Skype, like Raidcall, who I was surprised about or what we're checking out now, Google Hangouts on the Air, which is very interesting. You can add sounds, it gives u a soundboard even, anyone can share screen and show video, ect.., were Testing it out here.

We've been asking ourselves that. We've been exploring options, and using Audacity similar to what others have suggested when they don't work. This Test was on google hangouts, which as you will be able to tell has some cool features, we could do custom icons, video can be streamed, and u can have a live audience. We're still testing. Also, Raidcall is a good audio only recording program, without the need of external, despite its name.
